Yes, of course, other than the internet/social media, it wouldn't be a huge difference.

The war on drugs and AIDS are really the only two stains on the 80s.

All you soy boys who cry about weed smell, wouldn't make it. Erryone smoked inside the house and car with the widows up. Your great grandmothers house probably had tobacco stained walls.

Take a look at pics from back then. Almost everyone was thin and no tats. Society was much better looking back then.

Cars were not that great in the 80’s but would still go back knowing what I know now. As long as everything was the same…..

Don't kid yourself, plenty of fat folks back then. Taking pictures was less a thing.

Women as a whole look better today.

The lack of soy boys thinking they’re entitled to work from home would be worth it alone.

Didn't think I would, but I love working from home. At this point in my career, I really don't care about advancing and just want to do my job, get my check, and count the weeks until retirement. Working from home minimizes office politics and having people stop to office gossip, which I could care less about.

You know how the Amish live like it's 1899 or whatever?

Imagine some sort of Neo-Amish settlement where people live like it's 1989. Raise their kids away from the world of social media and oppressive internet.

Ride bikes around with no helmets.

Affordable houses.

Great Scott, I think you have a brilliant idea here. I'm already thinking up my cult leader name

Nah. The technology is too big an advantage. We certainly could stand to turn back the clock on some social movements though. And it sure would be nice to have less national debt…

Yes. For one very important reason:

Great 1980’s cinema.

Not even close. If you compared the beach from when I was in high school (class of ‘82) to now, it’s sad. Very few hot bodies at the beach now.
