Go back and buy a bunch of Rolex's, as an investment, instead of all of those hookers and that cocaine.

I was an adolescent, but being in my 50s now, I don't know. I like cell phones, TD and Google maps. Getting older, I like the better medicine techniques. But, with what I have now I'd be able to buy great condos in places like Destin and the Rockies.

fricking right. Back when kids could catch a whoopin at school, watch mid south wrestling, do a lot of stupid shite, that didn't seem stupid at the time and there was no one there to video it or take pictures. Rock bands did rock star shite and it was cool. Rap groups like Run DMC promoted not using drug, then you had the Beastie Boys and Brass Monkey was the song if you had bass in your car. LL Cool J's "I need love" was what a man would do to sweep a girl off her feet. Cartoons on Saturday morning. Teenage boys had posters of hot girls on their wall. Me and my brother shared a room, he was 10 years older so he would have those posters up and I thought I was so cool because I could say they were up in my room.

You got bullied and then bullied and you learned life lessons from that shite. You had to put in work if you were underage and wanted to look at porn.

Some of this stuff went into the 90s, but during the summer you went outside and just got into whatever came up that day. Your parents didn't know exactly where you were, but they knew you were within a certain radius. My mom has a loud arse voice. She used to just go outside and call us and we could usually hear her or someone would come tell us "Your momma is calling you".

Not even close. If you compared the beach from when I was in high school (class of ‘82) to now, it’s sad. Very few hot bodies at the beach now.

Dude you're misremembering. Look at how many smoking hot 30, 40 and 50 year old women there are now. In the 70s/80s when a woman turned to her "mom" phase in her 30s, she didn't work out, didn't eat Keto, didn't wear skin tight clothes.

Back then, because there was much less disposable income for the lower/middle class, mostly the higher class did stuff like go to the beach and other expensive places. Now the scum of the earth goes everywhere.

In a heartbeat. Didn't have all the stupid social media attacks. Nobody had their phone glued to their hands all day. Kids actually played outside until it was dark. Music kicked arse and you could go to a concert for 10 bucks. Gas was 1.00 a gallon. And it was either him or her. None of this them, they it or whatever pronouns they want to be called. And if getting high was your thing, you could get soft tacos at Taco bell for .39 or cheeseburger for .39 cents.

My teenage years were smack dab in the middle of the 80's and it was great times. We had a place in Shreveport called Crystal Palace. Great arcade place with a go-cart track inside. Our church would take us once a month to six flags or astro world. Another group would takes us on a two week trip to the grand teatons in Wyoming. Nothing like backpacking in those beautiful mountains. No distractions with phones. So yeah, it was great times.
