These are the same fellas that caught a Great White on Orange Beach. This time, in sunlight with drone footage. Major drama at the 14 minute mark of video when they thought they lost it.

What a magnificent creature.

I generally don't really care to watch videos of guys on beaches catching sharks, but when he put his hands on a great white then released it that was pretty damn awesome. That puts him in a pretty elite group of folks in my opinion. Cool video.

Gosh dang that was awesome

Idk if I'd be brave enough to wrap that leader up like he did. Barehanded.

Is teaching great whites they can find food on Navarre Beach a good idea?

I've caught much smaller sharks that I'm not getting that close to their mouths. I had one whip around on me and near get my foot, dragging it by the tail.

Good on 'em, but I would have cut the leader, probably.

You don’t think he lured the guy to the area do you?

Or that his bait was the only food that distance from the beach?

If any lesson was learned it’s that food in that area may have consequences.

I think sharks cruise all over the ocean, but I don’t think they usually find huge tuna off of Navarre Beach. I could certainly be wrong.

The bait was probably dropped something like 400+ ft off the beach by the kayak. Those big shark guys paddle the baits way the hell out there.

Decent amount of blacking tuna around right now, and Bonita. I’d assume that’s what the shark was targeting? Idk
