I use the 240 gr jsp Winchester white box in mine. They don't make it far.

My Q Trash Panda took almost 18. A few of those months are attributed to an employee of the shop I ordered from deciding to help himself to my suppressor during that time period.

I haven't seen an armadillo at my lease in 2 years. In 2023 I would see 4 or 5 everytime I hunted or rode around.

Came here to post the same. CVA scout is a great option. I have 2 and about to buy a 3rd. I love them.

If you are looking at Falken, check out the Sumitomo AT - same tires at the wild peak 3 just cheaper.

I have a Leupold VX-3 2.5-8x36 on mine. It's a great scope for that gun. I don't have see through rings and if I remember correctly I had to special order a base/mount for it for some reason.

I have the Deerfield model. I absolutely love it. I paid $650 I believe from a guy on Bayoushooter and that was probably 8 plus years ago. I'm sure $1000 is about the going rate now, maybe more. Fun little gun. Fairly accurate. Deadly out to about 100 yards. That 44mag packs a punch on a whitetail!

I have a bullseye. You have to clean it religiously because it doesn't have a grease trap. If you don't, you will burn up something and have to repair it. For the price, I like it but it definitely has it's issues.

G shock best for the money
Had a luminox that needed repair - they wanted to charge me almost what I paid for it. Not quality anymore.

Yeah you right. I work in the medical field so death is nothing to me. People dying doing what I love to do hits me harder I guess. Terrible situation regardless.
Don't even know these guys but I'm definitely a little upset. Heart hurts for them and their families. We all do this because we absolutely love the outdoors and I'll be honest I never think about the consequences.

Sad situation. I was hoping for the best, but knew the outcome was grim. Never been hunting in the rockies but I have hunted a lot of states. Mother nature doesn't care unfortunately.

My step-dad and myself have been hunting the St. Francisville area since 1990ish. The prices these days are insane. He's 71 and he has finally tapped out. Last year in the place we've been hunting since 2002. I think they went up to $50/acre for this next 3 year lease starting 2026.

What about a .44 mag?
I have a CVA Scout that is small, compact, accurate, and light recoil.

LDWF Youth Lottery

Results are in. Oldest daughter drew youth deer on Dewey Wills for Jan 4.
This will be our first time. Looking forward to it. She thought it was cool she won it.
How are the magazines on that savage? I've heard mixed reviews.
