re: Beaver trapping/shooting/selling - jgthunt
They actually taste really good. I killed one last month. Thing was huge. Prolly 45 lbs. I skinned it out and plan on tanning the hide at some point. I kept the skull for a European mount. Cooked on of the hind quarters like a pot roast. It was delicious....

re: LSU Baseball Tickets - jgthunt
So glad I checked this thread. I picked at 1pm today and was so frustrated not being able to get any sec games and my work schedule sucked for non conference. Just checked on my phone and was able to get 5 tier 1 3 tier 2 and 2 tier 3 games that I'm all off for. Come on baws!...

re: Cookin and drankin - record lows edition - jgthunt
Made a walmart order Friday night at work for the wife to pick up yesterday afternoon. Basically stuff for a chili, with some fruit for the kids, and Jim beam for me. The only thing they didn't have was the Jim. So I stopped on my way to work last night and got some. My mom sent me about 2 gallons o...

re: Baseball ticket info just emailed for those of you getting tickets - jgthunt
I'm just glad I will be able to visit the box this season, but I honestly am feeling like us cheap seats guys will be fighting over Southern and NW Ohio Community College. Been a season ticket holder for 10 years and I am still sitting in the same worn out bleachers from the old box....

re: 410 for turkeys, who’s done it? - jgthunt
I probably will this year. I have a Savage 301 turkey that I bought for my daughter. Put a vortex venom on it. Should be good out to 35 with tss. Currently I shoot a remington 1187 youth model 20ga. I have a burris ff3 on it with a carlsons tss choke. I wouldn't hesitate to shoot one at 50 with ...
