Honey badgers 2 vs arky and georgia woke up the rest of the team. Jesus what a sparkplug

The longest LSU play in program history...the UAB return of a FG you mentioned.
LINK
I don't go to that many LSU games but I was there was the greatest punt return I've ever seen...OBJ vs Kentucky where he started on one sideline and finished on the other side of the field going into the end zone. Seeing the whole field instead of just a TV broadcast view makes all the difference.
My bad...it was a TD catch and run but the description was accurate.

OBJ also has the longest punt return TD in LSU history

Robert Dow, 1974 Ole Miss, Tommy Casanova Ole Miss twice

My 3 favorites in no particular order:
* Chad Jones vs. Ole Miss (the birth of the Windmill)
* Trindon vs. Arky in the 2009 Pro Combat game ("Forget It Right Now!!!" from his own 30 remains one of the most underrated calls ever)
* Honey Badger vs. Georgia (Big Players in Big Games. There was none bigger when they needed it the most)

That time Greg Clayton caught it and went forward 3 yards was pretty epic. One of the best in several years.

From 2000-2019, we had Domanick Davis, Skyler Green, Trindon Holiday, Chad Jones, Patrick Peterson, Tyrann Mathieu, Odell Beckham Jr., Tre White, DJ Chark, and Trey Palmer all as punt returners pretty much in succession. That is insane and all of those dudes housed punt returns for us. Thank god we got Zavion Thomas now because the fact that we can’t find anyone to put back there anymore blows my mind.
Now to to answer the question, the TM7 punt return vs Arkansas in 2011 is my favorite because I saw it in person and it might be the loudest I’ve ever heard TS outside of the blocked FG vs Bama in 08 and the two Mason Taylor plays in 2022.

Not a punt return but will never forget OBJ housing a kick-six against UAB
I’ll never forget him dropping one against GA.

I had so much confidence in him. Probably the greatest punt returner ever in LSU football history and one that seemed to mold the traditional #7 into legendary status - Jonathon Giles

Todd Kinchen had one in Tiger Stadium where he crossed the entire field at least twice. Someone once posted how many yards that one covered, I think several tacklers missed him more than once.

Eddie Kennison's 100 yard punt return would like to speak with you ASAP.

Beat me to it. 100 yards vs MSU in 1994.
My first game in TS. Still have the ticket stubs.

"Eddie Kennison had one very similar"
Against Miss St in 1996. Listened to this one higher elevation at night on WWL from 500 miles away

The Skylar Green return vs. AU was literally part of a commercial I for Dish (or some service) for about ten years after that.

If Tyrann Scores on the 2nd punt return against Georgia thats a damn strong argument for one of the best returns of all time. Literally made 8 people miss by himself and the ninth just got him by a shoelace.

That was a fun game to be at. Also the game Honey Badger flew through the air with arms and legs extended, knocked the ball out the QB’s hand, landed on his feet, scooped, and scored in South EZ. One of the greatest individual plays I have ever seen in person.
