In “recent” times I can think of Chad Jones, TM7, and D.J. Chark. And of course, not exactly a punt return, but:

Still pissed it was called back

Not a punt return but will never forget OBJ housing a kick-six against UAB

Best return I viewed live didn’t go for a score. Mathieu return vs UGA where he got tripped up at the end.

That was Georgia in the SECCG.
Skyler green and Dominick Davis had some great returns as well.

This play/game has to go down as one of the best LSU non-home atmospheres ever. I was there that night and Jerry world was FULL. LSU has played in Cotton Bowls and other season openers in that building, but that crowd was different. An entire summer of expectation fulfilled.

Todd Kinchen deserves mention. Did it in the NFL as well.

Billy Cannon’s of course was in a class by itself.
But Eddie Kenneson’s return against Mississippi State was as exciting as they come.

Maybe not the best one but Skylar Green's return against Auburn in 2005 has stuck with me LITERALLY since that night. I was there and right before the punt, I called it. When he broke lose I (along with everyone else in the stadium) jumped up and threw my hands up. Felt something funny in my abdomen and ended up giving myself a hernia . Luckily its never caused me any real issues but its gotten a decent bit bigger over the last few years.

I wear it as a badge of honor

Not against big time rival, but K. Caulk’s punt return against Houston in 1996 was huge. I was there. Year 2 under Dinardo.

LAU trailed 34-14 entering the 4th. First play of the 4th was the punt return. Tigers scored 21 unanswered to win 35-34.

Went on the a 10-2 season.
