did she request medical attention at the scene?
For really minor crashes, I thought the standard move was to go to a friendly chiropractor a few days later and claim neck or back pain.

She'll get a police report and say she feels fine. Then in a few weeks your insurance will call and tell you she needs back surgery, neck surgery, chiropractor visits, and counseling for her pain and suffering, so you're getting sued for all that.

was it a hit and run? Or is this picture from being on scene?
Pic is from on scene. Both drivers pulled into a parking lot tonexchamge info.

I don’t think there was any mention of injuries at all quite frankly, just a little freaked out about the quick calling of the police, and need for a police report on something where there’s barely more damage than a shopping cart running into a car in a lot.
Wouldn’t a police report help prevent that?

She probably called the police right away because she suspected your "family member" would flee the scene and/or be uninsured.

Put it this way...
Gordon's Portofino just became an SF90

Please describe the driver so I can properly answer.

The only advice I can give is for whoever was driving to refuse to give their license to the police officer. Tell them you are more than willing to exchange info with the other driver but demanding a license is turning a civil process into a criminal process. If the cop gives you any lip, just keep asking if you’re detained.
Other than that helpful advice, call your insurance company asap and follow their directions.

What damage? Just get that magic eraser and buff that shite out.

I am going through this with my son. Talked with the adjuster and he told me that in his 20-plus years, he has only seen one case where the person attempted to sue for excess damages. All they are looking for is to wring every cent available out of the insurance company.

Gordon: STACKED
Your Insurance Company: NOT STACKED
Your Insurance Premiums: ALSO STACKED

How much are your policy limits?
That much.
In Louisiana, the injury isn’t dependent on the accident. The injury is dependent on how much money is available. However, if there’s a lot of money available, you’ll have to be willing to let a doctor stick a needle into your spine to inject a steroid, burn some nerves, etc. to make the big bucks.

Gordon needs another hot rod. Prepare thy anus.

Thanks for helping fund our LSU tigers! We love them so much, even when personal injury attorneys abuse the law and rape us and drive Ferraris from it

Can you do that?
If I rear end someone and they call the cops, I can just refuse to identify myself?

I wouldn't be so worried about being sued as much as your insurance rates going up.

Good thing you redacted the license plate. Wouldn’t want any in the general public to see that.

Are we talking about the scratches?
