You should check out The Charismatic Voice. Former professional opera singer who listens to different artists for the first time and breaks down what they’re doing vocally.

She has some good breakdowns. I don't mind the reaction videos by experts in what they're viewing because they actually provide some educational feedback.

It's the random people reacting to something videos that are kinda silly

I watch a few movie reaction channels. Popcorn in Bed is the best. Music reaction channels seem to mostly be some sort of music professional reacting to stuff they're unfamiliar with rather than just regular people.

"The Sound of Silence" by Disturbed. Amazing by the way.

Amazing? It's such a horrible cover that it is a meme.

I don't think it's that bad

The live performance they did on Conan was much better than the studio version though

He'd also like the shite load of Romanian whores at the fkk clubs in Germany. Romanians are the Mexicans of Europe, with the added benefit of prostitution

Yeah, be careful with these broads. One time I woke up in a motel, after a wild night with one of these chicks, and she had written "Welcome to the wonderful world of AIDS" on the bathroom mirror in lipstick before slipping out into the night.

The beegees ones are always funny. I also love the reactions to SRV Texas flood. Also the reactions to rage and Chris Cornell are always good

Was "2 girls 1 cup" the advent of Reaction Videos?

This didnt happen.. but nice callback to an early, pre-internet urban legend .

It is mostly a way of lazy, uncreative, and oftentimes borderline illegal "content creators" to outright steal content from other, bigger creators.

The "Rich Men North of Richmond" song was the most glaring example of this. Within a couple days of that song "going viral" there were literally thousands of "reaction videos" to it posted. Most of those videos were nothing more than some jackass sitting there with their mouth open. Every single thumbnail was the same, and pretty much every "reaction" was the same.

Just a bunch of talentless jackasses capitalizing on actual creative content they have nothing at all to do with. Most of it is borderline copyright infringement that YouTube has no intention of ever doing anything about. Even the already successful channels/creators are getting in on it.

The way Millennials & younger folks are oblivious to anything before they were born, I'm not so sure.

But certainly, I'm not oblivious to the fact that there are hard core grifters out there. That's why it takes more than a pretty face to get my attention on this vids. If I know a movie/show, and I can see them getting the subtle messages, I'm inclined to think they're legit. Viewer beware.

Reaction videos are terrible. I can’t imagine a more dreadful way to hear a song for the first time than by stopping it every 5 or 10 seconds and saying OMG!! Wow!! Just shut up and let the song play

Every reaction channel has had multiple videos deleted or demonitized due to copyright strikes. It's a constant struggle for the reactors to edit videos in a way that can pass copyright.

Yes, I watched a bunch of her videos before I stumbled across Bisscute. I like her too, but she sure stops the video a lot.
