I have my CPA license, my MBA, and I’m a notary for Louisiana. Any ideas on where I should try to go with my career?

Head for whichever direction leads to the front door.

Ever thought about getting on with a local or corporate bank?

How is that MBA working for you? My employer wants me to get a masters, they are going to pay for it, they don't really care what it is in but I was considering an MHA.

Take a manager or controller job at a small company. Then with some experience there start applying for CFO jobs

No offense, but you’re really coming here for ideas? With your credentials you should have a pretty good idea what your options are. You have many depending on what you want to do.

My mom went through this and jumped on as the CEO of a Budweiser distributor in Brevard County after being in a corporate controller role.

It has completely changed her life for the better and she couldn’t enjoy it more.

Big city going through good times as there will be a shortage of Controllers, Accounting Managers, etc.

Like Houston when oil & gas is doing well.
