A friend of mine is almost begging me to try this. Best way to cook it? Like fried bologna in a skillet?

Yeah, that's a good method. Slice thin and pan fry until crispy. Throw it between some white bread with a little mustard.

I like to dice it up, brown it and then scramble some eggs with it.

I like to cube it, fry it, then use it in fried rice.
I also buy the reduced sodium version because Spam is extremely salty (and for me to say something is salty, it's gotta be salty)

It’s really good, but in small doses. It tends to be a salt bomb. For those in EBR, The Cove Hawaiian Grill actually has it.

The low sodium version is a game changer. Highly recommend.

Spam cubed in scrambled eggs is amazing. Also love it in fried rice as mentioned.

If you are going to do spam, the low sodium version is your friend.

That sounds like a good candidate for how I been doing my egg samies lately. I think 2 fried slices would fit nicely on top dat cheese!

Whenever I eat SPAM it's usually for breakfast during a camping/hunting trip. Fry some bacon then fry the SPAM in the bacon grease

This. I love salt. And I don’t think low sodium means squat for heart health in most people

From from a taste perspective, regular Spam is overwhelmingly salty.

Food of the Gods. Was my favorite C-ration (pre MREs) treat. If my memory is correct, which is less and less each day, I think they called it spiced pork. In the can, it had a jungle shelf life of 987,465 years.

My way of doing it now. Might be a POBoy? Who knows?

Here is a dish I make 1-2 times a money.

Spam, peas and carrots, rice, egg rolls as sides. It's like an Hawaiian/asian dish so we douse it with soy. It's great.
