so many great places with whole fish dishes

the one at Peche with the chimichurri
fried whole flounder at Duke's
whole pompano at Lusco's & Giardina's in Greenwood, MS
the whole fish at Jesse's is excellent but I usually can't pass up the steak
there are some Thai places with some great whole fish options... 1618 in Austin has a whole redfish that is great

From what I was told the owner wanted the name to be the "Bayou Blues" but was unaware that was the name of a town and it'd be incredibly be difficult to get things trademarked/copyrighted... he wanted something music-related and went with Zydeco instead, even though it has nothing to do w/ the region

I don't know how anyone can possibly recommend Rocco's for a rb poboy. Their gravy comes straight from an industrial-size can.

I'm from the Northeast and when I moved to New Orleans people told me to go to Zee's. I considered it mediocre at best.

IDK much about Prairieville but I remember we played Denham Springs in basketball several years ago... we needed directions and one guy told us just drive down I-12 toward Baton Rouge and look for the giant billboard that says, "WELCOME TO LIVINGSTON PARISH - TRAILER PARK CAPITAL OF THE WORLD" :lol:

I had a buddy back in college who was a huge Brett Favre fan. Saw him at a game in Hattiesburg and asked if he could get a photo with him and Favre totally ignored him. He thought maybe he didn't hear him so he asked again. Favre didn't even acknowledge him. My buddy told him, "You're a fricking dick" and left.

Wife has worked as an extra in several movies. She said the best were Will Ferrell, Daryl Hannah, & Wanda Sykes. She said Mark Wahlberg and Woody Harrelson are a-holes.

I've met quite a few pro wrestlers over the years and unfortunately most of them are pricks. One who was not was DDP (Diamond Dallas Page) -- super down to earth and cool af. Others who are truly nice guys are Hacksaw Jim Duggan and One Man Gang.

An inebriated Shawn Michaels and Sean Waltman were at a popular bar off Sherwood back in the 90s (forget the name... was it Mike's?) and when my gf at the time went to buy cigarettes from the machine (trashy I know) near where he was sitting, he started hitting on her. She told him, "You must be kidding... I can smell the semen on your breath." Shawn got up to follow her and Sean held him back and said to her, "Sorry, he does shite like this all the time"
