New LSU offensive line coach Eric Wolford was over in Lake Charles, La., on Wednesday to visit with five-star offensive lineman Albert Simien.

Simien, a 6-4, 280-pound lineman from Sam Houston High School, is rated the No. 2 interior offensive lineman in the country and the No. 4 player in the state for the class of 2027.

LSU currently has two players committed for the class of 2027: five-star edge Jaiden Bryant and four-star quarterback Peyton Houston.

For more info on Simien, visit his profile page on our 2027 Recruiting Tracker.

He does look like the vols HC. Also, he's sporting Tenn Gear so it looks like we'll be in competition with Tenn for his services. Looks a little out of shape also.
