On Wednesday, new LSU wide receiver coach George McDonald headed west to recruit in Texas and made a stop at Shadow Creek High School in Pearland.

While he was there, McDonald offered class of 2028 wide receiver Jaylen Addai, the son of former LSU running back Joseph Addai, and 2029 wide receiver BJ LaFell, the son of former LSU wide receiver Brandon LaFell.

Jaylen will enter his junior year next season ranked as a four-star prospect and the No. 6 wide receiver in the country for 2028.

BJ just wrapped up his freshman season in the fall and has not been rated yet.

Man we used to rib on Lafell so bad for dropping passes. He worked through the dropsies, though, and ended up being one of the great all-time Tiger receivers! And his son is a beast, just like his Dad!!! Awesome offer, LSU! Keep ‘em where they belong!

I believe he had Lasix surgery one summer and when he came back, he caught everything thrown his way!

Maybe LaFell did too, but I believe you might be thinking of Dwayne Bowe

After Bowe had his eye surgery, it was determined his eyesight was horrible and after durgery he was spectacular at LSU and KC Chiefs.
