I think you’re going to find that the University of Georgia’s recent football success is going to ultimately be shown to be attributable in great measure to a shite ton of really hinky recruiting shite that’s going to come out.

After looking at the GA QB, we're not very far back.

remember that as great as UGA was last year, they still needed OSU to miss a FG to be able to even make the championship game. It always takes some luck.

As great as they were the year before they needed two torn acl’s and Bama losing almost 400 yards of offense to win the rematch…….UGA has been nothing but lucky if you really look at it.

I believe they have wins not recognized too.

I was just pointing out we have the same titles. We got there first, so it’s more like UGA finally caught up to LSU, Bama and Florida, hell and auburn to a lesser extent.

Look at recruiting. If we could exchange the 9 three stars pledged for 5 stars we might have a chance.

This. While LSU has enough depth offensively to compare with ga, defensively, it is not close. Kelly needs to and will land some defensive linemen and cornerbacks from HS.

The portal is a bridge for misses in recruiting. LSU has had to rely way too heavily on the portal thus far (2 years in a row the majority of the defensive backfield was from the portal), and will have to go to the portal for defensive linemen this year.

We are an average 10-3 program the past 20 years even with those 3 and the near misses

Well you clearly haven't a fukn clue about College Football & you REALLY need to pickup an encyclopedia & lookup “Average”.

Then come on back to this thread & see if you still think “average” programs play for or win a NC every 4/5 years or if “average” programs have won multiple NCs.

A few drunk driving tickets, and reckless endangerment charges. Also, need more white guhs who like the brothas on the team.

If we can replace this year's DL over the next few years we will be there! After we win the National Championship in 2025 we will get an amazing 2026 recruiting class and the legacy begins.

If your throwing 1942 in for UGA, you gotta include 1908 for LSU.

1942 had multiple "champions", but the most widely accepted poll at that time, the AP, listed Ohio State as the champions.

UGA "won" the Billingsley and Houlgate NC; Wisconsin the Helms Athletic NC.

And the 1940's also saw UGA disclaim two losses to GT (1943 and 1944) even though the NCAA records Tech wins those years. Meaning you can't trust much from UGA propaganda, especially from the 1940s.

Way too much sense and on target analysis for this forum.

LSU is consecutive national championships & the favorite to 3-peat away from becoming Georgia.

Multiple top 5 recruiting classes.

Before Kriby had all 5 stars at multiple positions he lost plenty of games. It's amazing how talent makes coaches look better than they actually are.
