Don’t want to cancel the Clemson game. But yes, if Texas schedules and beats Rice week 1, instead of playing Ohio State, they’re probably in the playoffs.
This is going to deter teams from scheduling big non conference games early in the season and that will sucks for us fans.
I’m guessing they he playoffs expand to 16, possibly even 24

Probably referring to national media who believes their opinions matter more than actual news. They call Lane narcissistic and entitled yet believe that their opinions should be heard by all.

This isn’t a good idea. With everything that has happened, if they lose and if they struggle on offense, his play calling will be picked apart and he will be accused of sabotage.
