I think LSU has as good of a chance as Tennessee did last year

Bottom line. There are some “fans” that post here who think that if LSU doesn’t win every game in every sport then the entire athletic department should be fired immediately. What you have to remember is

Apparently it was too long for your attentions span.
Just skip it.

Every generation says this about the generations under them. The generation above the boomers all talked about how lazy, selfish, and stupid the boomers were just as the boomers are doing to the younger generations now. It’s such a ridiculous thing to argue about. Every generation is different. None of them have been any better or worse than any other. This generation couldn’t have survived the 1920sand that generation couldn’t have survived the 1820s and so forth and so on. Generations are a product of their environment, not the other way around.

Dropping a series at #6 Carolina isn’t the worst thing that could happen. Seems like we have played a top 10 team for three weekends now. Adversity and struggle build mental toughness.

Paul’s teams would struggle at times and then when May came around, his teams often got hot at the right time. What happens this weekend will not hamper any post season goals unless you fear not winning the SEC championship.

College baseball fans have seen programs like Ole Miss, Mississippi State, coastal Carolina, and Long Beach state win National titles after having average regular seasons.

Regardless of today, I still have LSU winning 20 SEC games. Hosting a R and SR. And going to Omaha.

TLDR; Don't read this post. It's a waste of your time and I wrote it for myself.

Younger generations have a vastly better ability to outsource thought and memory to silicon. In most cases, this creates a less contributing person to society. In fewer cases, it creates a much much more valuable asset of a human. IMO, the smaller number of more valuable assets who outsource to silicon greatly outweighs the opposing number. Overall, the younger generations who outsource brainpower to silicon greatly outweigh the value of the older generations.

It's amazing to me how much more powerful and valuable a young person is with a computer in their hand than a majority of the older population. Alternatively, older leaders who recognize this tend to be the ones who are succeeding, hanging around and still growing their businesses - the ones who promote those "gross entitled cocky young computer kids". In my view, it's almost an actual handicap when an older person can't (or chooses not to) use computers.

With regard to attention span, it's ultimately a choice based on interest and always has been. If someone doesn't read a whole post or watch a whole video, it's simply because that person isn't interested. It doesn't mean the post/vid is bad. Just doesn't cater to that specific viewer's interests.

The pitching staff isn’t as strong as we were lead to believe coming into the year. Some of that has to do with injuries

The number 2 starter goes down just before the season so it wasn’t a lie. Hurd was at best a mid-week guy that was coming off of injuries Johnson wanted to bring back slowly.

and over reliance on freshman early.
. The freshman Shores IS a weekend starter as he was working his way towards so it isn’t without comprehension that Floyd would have been the number 3 with Shores pushing him or working long relief should one have a bad day or God forbid a rain delay.

Then you had a more than proven commodity in Cooper who gave you a ton of innings as well just last season. He, in fact was probably their most consistent guy at the back end.

Now throw in all of the rest of those pitchers.

This comment is completely wrong. I do agree with everything else though.

Weird melt considering LSU sports rides on the backs of Boomer's successes.

Atheletic Director - Scott Woodward
Football - Saban and Miles and now Brian Kelly
Baseball - Bertman and Paul Mainieri
Womens BB - Kim Mulkey
Men's BB is the only outlier of major sports.

this is a sports talk board. if a guy wants to give his opinion, he has the right, and you don't have to read it. for the life of me why do these bitchers and moaners constantly hit this board complaining about other posters? hit the damn button and move on!

Every single team in the country has issues - 99.9% of them have issues much more severe than LSU. S.C. is hot right now. They have some big dudes that can hit mistakes

We will be fine
