disclaimer - i wanted Nuss to replace JD the year he had his breakout season, and I was wrong. I didn't think he would improve as a passer and he turned into a great college qb. I wanted him to come back for his last year, but of course, the dinero was calling.

Why would he do something this stupid? He could still make it go away and I'd be fine, and I think everyone else would be fine, too.

Petty and selfish move, JD - we're still proud that you were a tiger, Jayden. that goodwill is not something to throw away for nothing.
I agree, but you have to acknowledge that there is so much skill talent there will be some bitching about someone not getting enough playing time etc. depend on the fan base.

no pressure on kiff this year.

nah. after the sh*tshow that was Brian Kelly. We know that it will be a fun year of football watching. we have a shot, but in reality everything would have to come together. team chemistry, lack of injuries, esp. at qb and corner, offensive line gelling early. all the regular stuff.

after this season expectations will start to rise. I am optimistic we go 10-2 but realize we could go 9-3. Because we have a good defense i don't see us going below that. But I know for certain that it will be entertaining football to watch.

I have dreamed of having a head coach who attacked offensively. Saban did some of that if he had the right qb, and Joe Burrow did it. We know Lane will do it every single f*ing season! Geaux Tigers!
he couldn't hit free throws. remember Hack a Shaq? he became a liability late in the 4th quarter. I love Shaq, and I firmly believe if he could've shot at least 80 per cent from the free throw line he would've been the greater Center ever in the pros. You needed him in the game but they would just foul him.

I get what you are saying about Dale Brown. He made his share of bad coaching on the sidelines. Still, with Chris and Shaq in the lineup at the same time, they would've been unbeatable if Shaq could've hit some free throws.
First, I get the part that you don't like LSU in the first place and believe me, we know the feeling of a beloved coach leaving for somewhere else and ending up with a hated rival.

But this transfer portal NIL hot mess has a lot of programs in the same boat. No doubt LSU will be on the short end of the stick in due time. I'm not gloating.

He won't have Lane Kiffin to kick around anymore. I didn't root against Ole Miss, and in fact wished them well, but I am relieved that they lost. now maybe the circus can end. It's great that the Ole Miss fans love Pete Golding, but it was insufferable the way the media was deifying him like he's the best thing since sliced bread. And now the Kiffin hating can start settling down. It was an awful bore. how can you blame someone for switching jobs if they believe it's in their best interest?

Find another whipping boy, Paul!
not freaking out, just wondering what the current up to date status is?

i know Braelin Moore is back as well as Tyree Adams(?), but i don't see the recruiting list listed on this site and I can't remember how many are coming in and who in the new class.

I figure good olinemen, who are as scarce as hen's teeth, will be working to get their best deals so they are not likely to be early signees, so I am going to wait patiently. I do know we need some.
pretty good bet to give him one more year at alabama. he should've had his agent working on penn state and michigan. Pride goeth before the fall.
it's set in for everyone. you can't stockpile all the talent anymore. no more dynasties. you will be able to compete every now and again.

that was a great football game!

Congrats, Ole Miss. I don't know what happened to Kirbo's offensive coaching staff. they were dominating in the first half with their running game and then they made halftime adjustments to change their game plan.

Both teams made a lot of great plays. just a great game.
but that was a terribly embarrassing loss! I don't remember when I saw an alabama team that demoralized and quitting.

i couldn't really enjoy the fact that you were losing because I felt so bad for you. It was really a butt-thumping!

i have nothing against alabama except i'm tired of them winning so much. it was great to see miami beat Ohio State for the same reason.

not gonna ruin my day to see alabama win, but i'd rather indiana advance.

for the record, i expect alabama to win.
when they abandoned the run he started getting more comfortable and confident throwing. showed he's not afraid to run. was inconsistent in badly missing some throws. but he could be a decent, good qb imo.
man, that's not a bad thing at all taken in context. he was emotional. Geez!
