Sunday’s installment brought in 6.4 million cross-platform viewers, up from 5.7 million the previous week and 4.7 million for its Jan. 15 premiere. The uptick on Sunday came despite the episode debuting at the same time as the hugely watched AFC Championship game on CBS.

HBO also says that four of its current series, including The Last of Us, have averaged more than 15 million viewers for their most recent seasons.

HBO is the GOAT of episodic tv content. Quality over quantity.

That's like $2.00/viewer to produce. What is the subscription price again per month?

There are youtubers that get more views per episode. TikToks that overshadow those numbers.

Good investment in a failing system to dump money into these sorts of trainwrecks.

The ratings went up for episode three because the first two episodes were good.

Episode four will have fewer viewers because episode three was an hour of gay propaganda.

Oh the media is loving this. They are already crowning it a masterpiece and justice for the LGBQT community.

Let's be real...if I'm in that situation and came across that setup...I might have to re-evaluate some things and just suck it up (literally)

It’s been really good so far

I don’t get to say that about adaptations of my favorite video games very often

there is so much potential for great video game adaptations - hopefully this starts a trend of putting real money into them

And because people curiosity watch things that get a lot of headlines, no matter what they are.

I didn't play the game and I haven't seen this, but I doubt people were drawn to it because they love gay romances. If that were true, the other recent gay centric movies would have done better.
