I haven’t watched episode 3 yet but it’s hard for me to imagine them doing a better job of this than both Station Eleven and The Leftovers.

Episode four will have fewer viewers because episode three was an hour of gay propaganda.

why does the gay agenda have to be forced-fed down America's throat like this?

we get it ... some people are gay .... good for them.

but why does it have to be front and center and treated like royalty whenever it represents such a minority of people.

Correct. But this line of thinking apparently makes you a hater of gays

This is delusional.

You’re referring to a homosexual relationship? As opposed to a heterosexual relationship, because you yourself are a heterosexual person. That’s why you are bothered?

Treated like royalty? I’m not seeing that.

I honestly wasn't expecting it to be a love story throughout. I expected Frank to be up to no good and bring a bunch of raiders (not the butt kind) to take of the neighborhood.

A gay couple exists on a TV show

Some on this board, “ Why is the gay agenda being forced on us?”

I love the Freudian slip also. “Why do all these gay men have to keep forcing their sexuality deep down my throat!!!”

THE HARMON CHARACTER WAS GAY IN THE VIDEO GAME.. WHY ARE PEOPLE STILL TRIPPING ON THIS.

maybe do 2 minutes of research before you watch a show.

There’s a reason this one works and none of the others do. It’s focusing on character, not just CGI or the narrative. They’re letting, just like in the game, the characters drive the story.

Had the episode’s only point been about the sexuality, it would not be good. But the episode was about Offerman’s character learning to care for someone other than himself and how his willingness to grow as a person ultimately benefit Joe and Ellie. It was a good episode.

Exactly. But posters on here are too ingrained in their mommy and daddy’s ideals so any time they see something queer on TV or in a movie they freak out like a puritan seeing “witchcraft”

Not true. Implied subtley, but not at all necessarily true.

That's actually more than the amount time spent in the game implying anything about Bill and Frank's relationship, which was really just a few hints dropped here and there. I'm guessing the reason for that is that it nothing to do with the story, but people can certainly draw their own conclusions.

BTW, is this the spoilers' thread?

I don’t know anything about the video game. I enjoyed the first 2 episodes but quit watching the third one. I’m just glad they did it in the third episode instead of like the eighth so I didn’t get that far into it before I quit watching.

Exactly, it's not being forced. It just exist like gay people do. Like every single thing does. One episode and people are freaking out.
