Graveyard scene green screen acting and CGI were really bad.

I felt like I was watching goosebumps during this scene.

There was a lot of bad cgi in this one and some of the acting felt like a local theater. I did enjoy the Halloran stuff for the most part though.
Finished it a couple nights ago. Got the 100% but it wasn’t under 30 hours.

Honestly didn’t think lost lace was that bad. Took about an hour to get it down. Spacing is pretty key in that fight and wanderers crest was my favorite. Had the closest to hollow knight’s moveset

I read you should play the original to enjoy one of the other Silksong endings and is what I am doing currently

I’m getting to the end of act 3 now this seems to be the case.

I think all I have left is the main quest stuff because there are no more collectibles to gather or wishes to fulfill
You know what else popped up around 2006 to 2008? Facebook opened up for everyone to sign up about that time. Without watching does he mention that?

I know that in Chapter 2, you can send party members out on side quests to level, gather mats, etc., but I'd like to get them leveled through random battles. The problem is that if I put even 1 noob character in with 4 of my mains, some overleveled Chocobo mob is going to one shot them.

Iirc, in the original, the success of errands was largely on what jobs you sent out. The rewards were usually either gil, decent items or collectibles plus the experience. I don’t recall ever having anyone die on one of those. It was just a way to get some easy exp mostly
I got a question. I’m in underworks getting things I missed and re exploring after opening it up from the wisp thicket. There’s a spool fragment where you have to go through a gauntlet to get to it and one of the larger enemies breaks the floor where there are blades in the middle.

So the question is, after beating the last guy, he drops an item and it immediately fell into the blades? Anybody know what it was and is there a way to get it again? The gauntlet wouldn’t reactivate after resting
I got him. I feel terrible about it but that boss sucked arse. Basically did like you said and stayed in the water until I had opportunities and also used poisoned darts and sting shards. Also had to switch crests to reaper
And I got to the boss and somehow it’s even worse. I’ll get it tomorrow. Just an annoying enemy gauntlet then a boss at the end you have to beat.

You can get out of the hidden save area without falling in the water but it’s pretty precise. At least you can just go right back to the bench if you don’t do it right and try again. But then you gotta hope you don’t fall in later on. So terrible
Holy shite bilewater is AIDS

Happy to finally explore it after I get double jump and it’s been a nightmare. Thank God I only had like 45 rosaries at the time. It’s the only place in the game I haven’t been able to get back to my cocoon once or twice
Thinking I’m gonna have to get this for pc. Mods should eventually have some cool stuff for this game and I’ve always played vanilla
There was a way I remember to basically max out a class in one battle. It’s a specific setup though. Need to find a map that has yellow chocobos, one character you want to level a job up with no weapon with punch for an attack and 2 or 3 characters with power break.

Basically kill everything but the chocobo, power break it as much as possible, then surround it on all 4 sides. You can then just punch it with the characters you want to level up for max job points and all it can do is attack you for 1 hp or heal. When you get it to critical hp it will pretty much only heal. Takes some time but pretty effective for breaking the game

ETA - the chocobo heal heals itself and all 4 sides so you won’t ever need to heal your guys
Get you some archers and equip them with bows and get to the high ground asap. Black mages also do well.

Squires leveled to 2 or 4 opens up knights and archers. Chemists leveled to the same opens up blm and whm. I can’t remember the exact job level you need.

The worst spot in the game where you can be severely under leveled comes in act 2 and when you get there you’ll know it. I remember being 12 years old on my first playthrough and getting stuck there and having to grind a ton of levels for a team of lancers that could jump anywhere
It’s in my top 3 FF games.

Does it get better? It’s the only FF I haven’t been able to get into. The battles are just so slow, and the most exciting thing you can do is throw a rock

You’re talking about early battles with the first 2 jobs out of a total of like 20 not including the specialized jobs for certain characters. Squire is basically your start for physical classes and chemists are starts for mages.

In short yes it gets way better than throwing rocks and potions

lobby/in-game comms

That would be a nightmare experience in this game imo. The way some randos with a leader complex react if you mark another location besides their shite routing

I’m honestly glad they left communication like every other from software game
There’s a new EWU video that’s been popping up on my YouTube feed. Haven’t watched yet but intend to after reading this thread:

“Roblox Predator Realizes He’s Been Caught”
I never did watch The Thin Red Line and watching some of malick’s other films later in life made me not want to. Is it akin to Tree of Life and some of his others with a bunch of narration and extremely slow pacing?

Tree of Life and The New World were both 2 hour movies that felt like 4 for me
What the hell are you mad about? The game is here, and releasing in 2 weeks. I get that you were in the dark for awhile but comparing it to anything GRRM has done is crazy talk. You should be happy right now
Skipped through it all last night. It’s frustratingly bad. Like so bad it pisses you off most of the movie. I won’t rehash all the dumb shite in it that’s already been posted but ice’s boss or some govt official is basically on the golf course through most of the movie while shite is blowing up all over the world.

I really want to know how much the actors got paid to basically read their scripts into the camera over zoom calls. That’s probably what pissed me off the most watching
RLM hasn’t put a video out in a bit. Eagerly awaiting their half in the bag or best of the worst on it
