Warning: graphic video

LINK

I can’t imagine the passengers inside the plane not knowing what was about to happen. Twenty nine passengers have been recovered so far.

Who decided to have the airline letter take up 95% of the screen?

Holy shite.

First time I’ve ever seen a video from inside the plane from before to after with the camera staying intact the whole time.

That’s fricking terrible

Wow. Hopefully some of our resident pilots will chime into this thread to opine about what might have happened. I'm surprised that phone footage survived for so long, and I'm surprised they were recovering competely intact bodies from such a crash.

The flames bellowing in that video is horrifying. You literally went from normal to raging inferno in a matter of seconds.

The plane seems to have tried to fly, but couldn't. I'm no expert though.

Eta: graphic read with caution

The guy running with the girl after the crash totally falls down running with her then you realize that girl's probably dead already as her broken arm just dangles.

That airport is brand new, commissioned Jan 1st 2023. There's a report that said it's the first time the pilot was landing at the new airport and he requested a runway change to land on.

Juan Brown’s (blancolirio) early breakdown of the crash.

Looks like a left wing accelerated stall before impact.

Plane was already low and slow and when the pilot saw he was and corrected he pulled up on the elevator which only made the situation worse.
