First Pope to abdicate in 600 years, so the gay communist could reign. Yeah, nothing to see there.

The one doing Satan's work will probably live a long time and continue to inflict WEF communism on the world.

Hold on to your hat fellas-- we about to see crazy; crazy the last 2yrs was just childs play compared to what is coming.

My theory is that Benedict the XVI was the last of the Katechon(Thes 2: 6-7)- hope I'm completely wrong though. But prepare yourselves(spiritually) in case I and many others are correct.

This is not end of the world stuff but a calvary which the Church and the world will need to go through for the better times that will come at the end of it.

May he R.I.P. Although I was very disappointed when he stepped down from the Chair of Peter.

Christianity went one way centuries ago and we let those that went the other way keep the "Chair of Peter" and all the Mithra costumes.

When one studies and analyzes all of the historical evidence, it is clear that you are wrong.

I didn’t view him that way, as I view Francis as illegitimate.

I believe it was a forced resignation.

Jesus Christ established His Church when He told Peter,"Thou art Peter (rock) and upon this rock, I will build my Church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it" (Matthew 16:18). That Jesus said that is undeniable.

You can change the wording in the Bible. You can drop books as in the Epistle of James. You can even do what Martin Luther did and scratch out passages in his personal Bible. (See picture of page from Luther's personal Bible in the October 1983 issue of National Geographic Magazine) but the fact remains. I believe that's called 'pick and choose' Christianity.

As far as the fancy robes? I'd prefer they wear a seamless wool robe, but that's just me.

Undeniable. Jesus established His Church (Catholic) and placed Peter (the fisher of men) as head (Pope) of that Church.

Now are there bad people in the Catholic Church? No more than there are in other so-called Christian denominations. Jesus tolerates the weakness of men. If he didn't he wouldn't have chosen Judas Iscariot as one of His Apostles. God always waits for the return of the Prodigal Son and Daughter.

But ultimately we (Evangelicals, Protestant, Catholic) have a lot in common. Starting with belief in one Triune God. Which consist of Father, Son, and Holy Ghost.

But the Catholic Church is the true church established by Jesus Christ Himself.

Truth, what is that? - Pontius Pilate

The more I have studied history, the more “Protestant" I’ve become. The early church looked nothing like the current Roman Catholic Church. Many of the dogmas that bind the consciences of the Catholic were entirely unknown to the early Christians. Even the Bishop of Rome (the Pope) being the preeminent Vicar of Christ was a foreign concept to a bunch of presbyters instructed by the Apostles (plural).

To be deep in history is to cease to be Catholic (as Rome understands it today, at least).

IRTT: I’m sorry to hear of the death of Benedict. I hope he repented before he died.
