I remember being at a game at Tiger stadium and a B2 stealth did the flyby. That was pretty amazing.

I bet all of the 15,000 people at Bobby Dodd were shocked by that one.

We were at that Bama game. Scared the shite out of us with how low it was.

Same here, in the endzone. I thought for sure they were going to clip one of the tower cranes and we'd be dead.

Kinnick stadium press box, 2010. I was walking to my seat and nearly shat myself.

A Dangerously Low Flyover At Kinnick Football Stadium Forces Major To Turn In His Wings

quote:

Maj. Christopher Kopacek was the flight lead who led his four T-38s over Kinnick Stadium at a dangerously low altitude of only 16 feet above the press box and clearing the scoreboard by only 58 feet. The Air Force was displeased with the major’s reckless low altitude flying which was akin to buzzing the tower à la Top Gun which is a serious breach of flight safety and protocol.

Ok, this one was pretty damn good.

The timing with the national anthem, the sheer force with which they blow through there, and the fireworks all were awesome.

That's the best ever. And they got in trouble for flying so low.

If this already happened, wouldn’t it be a “flew-by”?

Does anyone happen to have a video of the lone F-16 jet Flyover to kickoff the Armed Forces Weekend At Alex Box a few years back?
I witnessed it from HR Village and it was incredible. One plane very low, coming from East to West. As it cleared the Box approaching the River, the pilot hit the gas into a steep climb. I remember you could see that big arse flame coming out the back of the plane and the top of the plane as it climbed sharply.

Still mad I didn't video it.

Found the article. But for some reason I remember just one jet flying over for the first game. Hmm.

The Kinnik Stadium will always be the best one. Those dudes were insanely low.

if i recall, they actually flew very close to, and possibly even UNDERNEATH the cable suspended skycam. Could have been a disaster.

I remember for Ole Miss vs Florida in 07 in Oxford they had a flyby that did 3 passes on the stadium. Went north to south, then looped around and did east to west (i think) and then a 3rd pass from south to north.

I was there for that. I want to say it was an f16. Was outstanding.
