That’s definitely a ChatGPT answer.

What kind of budget do you have? Lots of good ideas here but they may be out of budget. Items that i've received from being a big sponsor:

Ghost Towel with logo
Soft-sided RTIC cooler with logo
RTIC portable folding chair
A good speaker
Customizable shoes from Footjoy
One of the coolest gifts I received was a hand forged ball marker. Check out Seamus Golf. They had a company at the outing we were at and we got to customize a hand forged ball marker. One side has the company logo and the other side had whatever we wanted.

The correction stat controls how extreme the angle is on your swing stick.

Is this something that I can change by earning more XP or whatever they call it in the game?

You probably have perfect swing enabled in your offline settings which makes the game really easy and has easier swing settings.

Once you go up from pro-am difficulty to pro the swing bias comes into effect

So you're saying if I wanted to have the same experience that I have on online settings, I need to change it to pro?

Can someone please help me with this game. I don't have any problems when i'm playing offline, everything seems to be easy (i'm sure it's just the settings I have). When I play online though, my driver has the setting you see in the image below, but with the red lines. I took this off the internet as i'm not near my xbox right now. Whenever I try to hit at this angle, I always shank it. How do I get my driver to be more like the white lines that you see in this image and more like it is when i'm playing offline?

There is a lot of resources on the internet that will help you find what’s best. There are Facebook groups dedicated to sim builds and you will get a lot better info than TD golf board. One thing that I would not skimp on is the mat that she (and you) will be hitting on. A cheap mat may lead to elbow problems so you’ll want to get a mat with under padding that will absorb the impact better.

Check out Carls Place website as well. From my research, they are one of the best “sim in a box”.

Cortisone shots do work but you need to limit how many of them you get. Over time they will work less and less and will do more damage in the long run. You could also look into a PRP injection which is better for you than the cortisone.

I get so worried im going to hit way past the hole that I end up short on birdie putts and par putts. It is infuriating.

You have more of a chance of it going in if you hit it passed the hole than if you hit it short.

All of the above. On the practice green I’m pretty good because I’m nice and loose and have zero pressure. Standing over a real shot I get very tense and have a ton of bad thoughts that usually come to fruition.

Sounds like it's not a chipping issue then, sounds mental.

Anyone around BR that you used or recommend strictly for short game?

I am not in BR, but if your chipping is good on the range but not on the course, an instructor won't be able to fix that. A shrink may be able to though!

What’s happening when you’re chipping now? Are you shanking it? Hitting it fat? All the above?

I had these issues and went to an instructor to get them fixed. If your issues are the above ones, then they were the same as mine. Three things that he showed me:

1. Standing too close to the ball which causes the heel shank

2. My hips were outrunning my hands so needed to get chest, arms and hips in sync. Basically needed to slow down my hips.

3. I was stopping my follow through so having me focus on getting my right shoulder through and finish high. The follow through swing should be longer than the back swing.

That worked for me as well.

I’ve had tendinitis in my elbow several times and I always go the cortisone shot route.

I used to go this route as well, but the cortisone is not a long term solution. Over time it will cause more and more damage with each shot. If you continue to get it, find a doctor that will do PRP.
I've read the responses and for me, none of these responses worked. Theraband.....nope. Ice/ibuprofen....nope. Dry needling.....nope.

I even tried physical therapy for about 4 weeks (which included the dry needling) and nothing worked. The only thing that worked (for me) was a PRP injection. It took about 4-5 weeks to actually kick in, but I do not have any pain anymore. It just went away. I'm about 9 months into it and still cannot tell that I was dealing with any pain. I unfortunately had both tennis elbow and golfers elbow at the same time.

Good luck to you, it's frustrating.

I guess one thing you didn't learn in your 39 years is how to respond to messages. You posted this and then just disappeared.

re: GPT and me

Bringing up an old topic as I’m just starting to use ChatGPT. What is the main difference between the free one and paying for it. I’ve been using the free one and it seems like it does everything I need.

What are some other things you all are doing with it? I have recently had it create me a VBA script in outlook that moves all unreplied emails to a created folder so I don’t forget to reply to them. Once I reply to them, it moves it out of that folder and back into the inbox.

I think it’s crazy the amount of people that act excited for Super Bowl ads. Me personally, I don’t give a frick to be sold on some shitty advertisement. It’s like a corporate lie we’ve been led to believe “omg SB ads” so they can influence us with our consent. No thanks.

Of course it is. Did you see the graphics on how much the ads have increased in price over the past 20 years. It's all a fabricated scam to get the advertisers to pay more. Once the advertisers say enough is enough, then there will be some change but until then, it's going to continue to be part of the game.

Good luck with the incoming stress of going to Costco on a Saturday afternoon.

I bought it as soon as it was released and hated it. I bought it with the stock shaft which was too light for me. I could have easily switched out the shaft but no reason to spend another $200 on it. A guy at my course bought it from me for $200 so I jumped at that. Could have just returned it to Costco as well.
