I don't know anything about Pokemon cards, but with anything collectible cards, stamps, coins, etc ..

Scarcity

And to be fair, all collectibles are typically worth a lot less in real money than their "value". Since you actually have to find a buyer

What does a mentally unstable woman freaking out at Walmart have to do with collecting nerd memomrbilla?
People collect all kinds of shite. I collect actions figures from 80's and 90's sci-fi movies. Why... cause I like them.

There should be……

But sadly, there likely won’t be…

The left normalizes this behavior and attacks anyone who speaks truth or common sense….

This. Only difference is I would not have spoken one word. Just would have kept videoing her.

Mental health issues definitely seem to have increased. This girl announced her trigger event as a rape early in the video.

She seems beyond help. Hopefully a public freak-out like that will lead her to seak therapy and/or medication.

Even though the guy filming was making it worse, I don’t expect compassion over mental health issues to come easy for people.

One of my favorite lines from " the office" and a overlooked but useful line ... Darryl to Kelly. " You need to access your uncrazy side". It certainly applies in this situation

ETA the first Twitter comment I saw is succinct but true " idk .. But we are in trouble"

many of them just never matured and that is why we have adult toys today like those stupid-arse funk pop figures and hoards of adults out in groups "catching" Pokemon on their phones.

Dude it wasn't that long ago you used to be active on the video game board (I only know this because someone mentioned it on here).

Isn't that what that stupid Pokemon thing is? A game on your phone?

You post this one episode of this crazy bitch who obviously has some mental problems and lump in everyone who has some type of collection?

Is it a generation thing?

I had a cousin who was much older than me. When I was in HS she passed away due to cancer in her late 20s. She was married, had a good job, etc and she loved Disney. She collected Disney stuff.

In the late 90s there were adults collecting Beanie Babies. If that's what some people want to do who cares?

Chick is clearly mentally ill. She likely had anxiety tunnel vision, went to check out, got confronted by the guy, and just snapped. I feel sorry for her for being such a mess, but it's hardly indicative of anything or anyone else, outside of her own mental health issues.

I've been saying for years that the human brain is going to need generations to catch up to how quickly society has changed in regards to stimulation. Our brains are bombarded with information that it perceives (rightly or wrongly, but usually wrongly) as threats. We just aren't wired to deal with that, and the average person is starting to just break the frick down. Not sure what the solution is, but it's clear we have a problem.

. bullshite... Her mental state is exacerbated by her safe-space progressive programming. Apologists like you and your ilk are enablers to that behavior. To think that crazy bitch probably drives and votes is flat out scary. In fact, i wouldn't be surprised if she was a teacher.

Same. There's video cameras of what she did. Make them pull the tapes and call the law on her.
