Apparently that’s on deck for me. I had my sleep study last night and I stop breathing for moments throughout the night.

I’ve felt sluggish throughout the day for what seems like all of my adult life. I thought it was normal to need several cups of coffee or energy drinks. A nap for me is anywhere from 1-2 hours. I can sleep in until 2PM on a weekend without even trying.

Overall, my diet isn’t bad, but I’ve put on some pounds in my adult years. I could stand to drop a few. I’m not sure if this is a chicken or egg scenario, but I napped and slept in during my skinnier days.

I’ve heard the mask is a game changer. I’m eager to find out what it’s like to wake up in the morning feeling refreshed.

How would you not wake up before that to use the bathroom?

Do you think you’ll be less lazy with more oxygen?

Definitely a game changer. If you don’t think it makes a difference, use it for a few weeks, then skip a night or 2. You can definitely tell.

Considering I’d sleep in until 2 because my body wouldn’t get good sleep, sure. It’ll be nice to not feel sleepy at the wheel of my car while it’s in the middle of the afternoon.

The technician didn’t have my final numbers yet. I left at 4:30 this morning. He just told me what he saw, but no score as of yet.

Sounds like you have a lesser genetic quality.

Are CPAP machines easy to sleep with? It seems like you would lose more sleep with a mask over your face versus a couple of times holding your breath at night.

I pretend I’m a fighter pilot, or a scuba diver.
