When I first watched Cowboy Bebop I was kinda surprised to see one of their minor background characters sporting a Cornhuskers hat.

I mean why does a showrunner in Japan care about American CFB? Later I found out that Nebraska played their last game of the season in 1992 in Tokyo against Kansas St to win the Big 8 title, led by True Freshman Tommie Frazier and Calvin Jones. Nebraska was still a huge huge deal in CFB at the time and I guess they got a little bit of a following in Japan.

That's the team I'll randomly watch late fall. Usually there's a little snow flurry. The football just feels different.

Plus, I love Yellowstone, worked there one summer as a College student.

Got to know Wyoming... So, watching them on TV is like getting back to the state.

I love Yellowstone too, and I just drove out there, but the North and Northeast entrances are still closed so Manmouth Hot Springs was closed. Old Faithful was PACKED and Canyon road was closed (East side of Upper Loop). I decided (like an idiot) to drive and stay in Rexburg, Idaho. I drove in from Rock Springs on US-191 (gas up before you get on it; it's 160 miles of almost nothing). A rain storm was coming from the West, and you could see the clouds and rain, with the sunset and mountains as a backdrop. You can see for MILES. I actually love the drive from the West Thumb to the East Entrance (Sylvan Pass is nice, as is Butte Lake). I know most are all about the West (West Yellowstone) and South (from Jackson/Teton), and all of the best attractions are on the West side of the loop, but I love the less visited parts. The drive to Cody sucks, especially if you have a slow drive in front of you, because 14/16/20 curves like none other.

I did not plan it out well, and would like to spend 3-4 days at Yellowstone/Tetons. Next time, I want to go out the Northeast Entrance on US-212 toward Cooke City, MT, although the road at Rock Creek curves like insane.

Where in Yellowstone did you work (people are stupid aren't they)?

Dad and sister went to Boston College, so I have a soft spot for them.

Grandparents went to Mizzou, so I don't mind them, either.

Being a College kid, I was a waiter at the Lake Hotel. So Central West Yellowstone. It was extremely popular to take Summer jobs after a Semester in the National Parks and getting Yellowstone was a homerun. Great summer.

Cornell football. Years ago, I had a friend whose little brother had gotten a full ride there. Went to a Catholic school in NO. Walked on the team and ended up being the starting LB by the first game his sophomore year.

frick Oklahoma State

They have a large contingent of fans on Twitter convinced they would have beat LSU in 2011…even though they fricked everything up by losing to god damn Iowa state

So you don't like Oklahoma State because their fans, who aren't unbiased, like to brag about how good they think their team was in 2011?

You seem like a rational person.

Iowa St.

Back when I used to go to the independence bowl every year in the glory days, the Cyclones came twice and both times packed the stadium and their fans are the nicest I've ever encountered.

And Seneca Wallace was a blast to watch.

I like to pull for Louisiana Tech, and in general like seeing Louisiana teams do well.

Outside of that, I like Kansas State and seeing the service academies perform well.

Oklahoma st because my father graduated from there. Ulm because I live in Monroe and I’d like to see them win. Randomly, it’s Wyoming football. Love their logo and the color scheme is so hideous l love it. In basketball, I remember watching Villanova beat Georgetown. Been a fan ever since

I like Purdue. First major CFB game I went to was the Alamo Bowl where Brees beat KState at the end. Young TT08 met several Boilers (including Drew) at the team hotel we happened to be staying at.

I usually like the late games out West, especially if it’s non-P5 action.

Wife went to UTSA, so I have been brought in to that atmosphere.

I always liked WISCONSIN. Tuff hard nose football. I also enjoy any team that run the Triple Option.
