I can’t hate on Wisky.

Honestly, I’m ok with any perceived underdog winning. Seeing schools like Utah win the Pac, Iowa State win the Fiesta, Pitt win the ACC is a nice change up, especially when you consider the lack of parity since the CFP.

Those non playoff bowls tend to produce more exciting games.

As the NIL era makes big school athletes the big money, I’ll probably find myself enjoying MACtion a bit more.

Kinda surprised no Boise St. Winningest team in college football when I was coming up. Enjoyed watching their 11-1, 12-0 seasons on late night espn with their gimmicky field.

Being able to have a blue field, then able to wear blue on said field, ruins their babyface status.

NC State
Kentucky
Whoever is playing OU, Texas, Notre Dame, Wisconsin, or Penn State
The Pac12 South sans Big10 teams
Washington State

Appalachian State. Though you could argue that since one of my church's associate pastors attended there that could be an "affiliation".

I have degrees from three schools which divides my attention more than enough.

Georgia Southern was in the midst of the Erk Russell years when I was in high school, and a guy from my hometown was on one of the championship teams. Plus, I love option football. I applied there, but female influence took me somewhere else. My father received a scholarship offer to App State but was injured in a car wreck and wound up at Mercer. The GSU/APP State games are always of interest.

Back in the days when we only had games on network TV, it seemed Michigan was always on our local ABC affiliate. I'm not a fan, but I fondly remember the Anthony Carter years.

Being an option fan and having lived in OK as a boy, I kept up with OU and loved the battles with Nebraska, but I have developed an affinity for Stillwater and thus Oklahoma State.

My son just graduated from BC this spring, so they’ve been my second team for the past four years…beautiful campus up there!
