Let’s just make everything black and get it all over at once.

But I don't see any issue with it. They're rebranding a ride, which they've done a billion times before on other rides (40,000 Leagues Under the Sea for example).

I’m not a big Disneyland guy, but I have to say I liked Princess/Frog. It got in right before Disney went full woke.

More controversy: Trans-man in the new Baymax series is buying tampons to make sure your young kids understand that men can have periods too...

I think they may just be committing corporate suicide. It's ripe for a few billionaires to make a run. We just need more Elon's.

So it’s Louisiana themed now.

Is it? We’re all gonna have to pay an inspection fee just to get on the ride.

Not that I’m ever going back to dodging fatties at shite hole disney.

I have to say I like that they are making this ride. Not to take anything away from Splash Mountain, as I dont believe it should have been re-imagined, but I have a good feeling this will be tastefully done, and we will be impressed with its representation of Louisiana.

They should have built this ride a long time ago. I liked the movie.

Yeah, the reasoning is dumb but if they had come done it for more authentic reasons I don’t think people here would be so upset. It’s a pretty cool change IMO.

Personally I’m going to pay more attention to the outcome rather than the motivation bc I like to look at the bright side of things

They’ve revamped a few rides, a lot of it has to do with kids just not knowing the older cartoons.

Because you're that invested in "The Song of the South" or just as a general concept?

Most kids have no clue about the characters on the ride anyway.

Not many know the princess and the frog characters either if we’re being honest.

In Disneyland the ride is in "Critter country" which is adjacent to "Orleans Square" it fits the theme there. But not in world.
