For those of you not from around here... Country Day is a very, very expensive private school in which many of the students go to expensive but meh schools like Spring Hill and a bunch of East Coast "elite" private colleges.

Many if not all of the ladies will be featured in debutante season. It is likely one of the girls in the picture, if not more than one, will be a future Queen of Carnival.

Their parents and grandparents who are paying this tuition generally will refer to themselves as "Republicans' but they are the type of Republicans who think Trump is just too mean, and who donate a lot of money to groups like "Republicans for John Bel Edwards".

90 percent of the parents support this protest. 95 percent of these girls will get knocked up at some elite east coast college and will have an abortion if one is available.

They skip class, and get attention.

It's a solid double play for your attention whore teenager.

Not all. Country day has a respectable population of Jewish kids. They make the college acceptances for each class look respectable.

Uhh, Metairie Country Day IS a private school and a fricking expensive one at that. Tuition is almost $25k

It's part of like this odd sort of chain of "elite private schools." There are Country Days all over.

If the draft was upholding RvW would the school be as supportive of the students whom walked out ?

Looks like a good time for a pop quiz worth about 45% of their final grade.

I’d bet every dollar I have the main motivating factor here is social media views versus actually being about RvW.

I see boys marching with them. I thought, according to everything I read, they cannot have an opinion on such things?!?

They’re just thinking outside the box, and hoping it provides a way to get into the box.
