Sadly, they are the future of America. Thankfully, I probably won’t be alive to see this generation run America into the ground.

All that tuition and they can’t even get an alum on the Supreme Court (unlike another local school).

Parents throughout the school or the parents of this small group?

Well, it is Catholic. I'd bet there is a shite ton of social justice crap pushed in that school. It is located in New Orleans.

Just a guess. If students were to walk out of school protesting the stolen election, would the school have put out this same statement?

Yeah probably not

School's email handled it fairly well. Didn't take sides on the issue, encourage respect of differing opinions, and enforcing rules with consequences for skipping classes. But I'd still be pissed as a parent if my kid was trying to leave campus in the middle of a school day and they didn't at least attempt to stop the students from leaving campus or call all parents immediately, more so if I'm paying that school $25k a year per kid in tuition to be responsible for my kids during the school day.

St. Catherine sent out an email about it. Apparently St. Catherine some how knew it was going to happen a few days prior. according the email and had JPSO present. If St. Catherine knew about it in advance then seems logical CD did too so it’s not like these kids just decided to skip school that morning and protest.

Once I had explained to me the difference between Country Day and Newman:

At Newman both parents have to work to afford the tuition; at Country Day neither parent has to work to afford the tuition.

respect the kids who walked out of school? sends a great message.

I think it’s actually a pretty good response from the school. You can walk out of class but there are consequences to missing class like failing whatever quiz or test was that day. It’s kind of a college like approach, no one is going to make you go to class but we also don’t care if you fail out either.

I don’t mind the schools response

Enlighten us on what you mean by CD being the new Ecole Classique?

These kids have no idea what they are doing. They cannot comprehend what it means to end a baby’s life or understand how amazing the miracle of life is. This applies to college kids as well, even they are simply not developed adults in this day and age.

I am not super religious, but if you kill an unborn baby, you are setting yourself up for going to hell or at a minimum some very bad energy. That s$&$ will haunt you forever I’m convinced.

I wonder how many kids would have shown up if this was planned for a Saturday, instead of during school?

As a graduate of Ecole Classique in the 90's I guarantee you that this was NOT the case. Ecole didn't discriminate, and yes they opened their doors and hearts to most, but not all. They believed in giving kids a second chance, but not a 3rd or 4th. It was a fantastic nurturing, tough as nails, education, where they didn't put up with the pussies that the are being produced today. Ecole is nothing like Country Day where CD has to keep up with the "Jonses," "new money," social climbers, whereas Ecole didn't care and still doesn't care who or what you come from.
