Ozark Finale Discussion **SPOILERS FOR SERIES FINALE!**

Didn’t hate or like the ending. It ended about how I thought it would. I never thought any of the Byrds would die. Only one I could have seen being killed was Charlotte. And it seemed inevitable that Ruth was going to die. Especially after killing Javi.
I did like that they killed the holier than thou PI and Jonah finally grew a pair of nuts and brain to realize you are better off with your family than not. So he redeemed himself in the end for me when he killed Mel.
In the end, I’m happy that the Byrds got away with it all. Just wish Ruth hadn’t been a casualty. frick Clare.

Not a big fan of the ending. The fade to black, cliff hanger reminds me of the Sopranos Otherwise I don't care about the rest. Ruth made her bed.

Are there worse parents than Marty and Wendy? Their kids say they want to move out of state to get away from the danger and they’re like “yeah no we’re all going down together”. That was 100% the best thing for all parties involved.

Wendy is a cold hearted bitch, always was. Marty, despite his faults, was right when he told Charlotte he could do nothing right for her. I hope Jonah put a bullet through her brain but we will never know because of the stupid cut to black as he fired.

Yeah, a cheap way out IMO. It’s like they ran out of ideas and just said frick it. Ozark started off great, but at the end it took the easy way out. Netflix and it’s show Ozark are both going down the same path.

The show was so good up until the ending that I am kinda flabbergasted at how lazy it ended.
Marty should have killed Wendy, or at least not stopped her from getting killed.

I just feel like it was a end to a season and we are waiting for the next season to come out. It wasn’t a satisfying or a full blow conclusion to the series. Cheap way out for sure

I didn’t like what they did with Ruth this portion of the season. None of it was necessary.
Her death was needed but she was completely at fault and made terrible decisions over and over.
Very sad Wendy didn’t die.
It did seem like a lazy ending.

First two episodes were really bad, so bad that I came in here to read what happened. Glad I won't be watching the rest

I hated the ending, hated that Ruth was killed. She was trying to redeem herself. Screw Claire. Wendy is the one who should have been killed. She couldn't stand anyone else in charge and thus put everyone else in danger, she always thought about herself first above all others. She wanted all the power.

This is what frustrated me the most. The entire season we see Wendy slowly devolve into the sociopath we knew she was. Then after the car accident, poof she apologizes and they're one big happy family again?
