What a joke. All of them just walking away with a few bruises that were magically gone by the gala, in what, a couple of days. Very disappointing final season.
Only part I enjoyed was when Ruth dropped that pos Javi like a boss with no hesitation when he sauntered into the Shaw office. Yea, I know she signed her death warrant with that action but it was worth it.
Wendy surviving, with her stupid quote justifying how the powerful always get away with it, was just the icing on the cake. How she survived was the most glaring wtf.

Why was Nelson trying to kill Ruth/Rachel if the cartel didn't know at the point that Ruth killed Javi?
ETA: A quick internet search seems to say that Nelson wanted Ruth dead because she wasn't going to let Marty launder money through the casino.

I mean the car flipped like 4 fricking times. Nobody cracked a rib, sprained a wrist, or needed to be checked for a concussion? Nah let's just take a cab home and go about our day
At the very least they'd all be awfully sore and in pain for days.

Family court doesn’t happen that fast
Business takeover doesn’t happen that fast
Ruth should have been packing

You forget that Marty bought the safest car in its class!

How are you going to start the final season of a series with a dramatic wreck.. spend an entire shitty season leading back up to that wreck, show it again, then have it mean absolutely nothing to the storyline and everyone walks away without a scratch.
Atrocious finale season. Atrocious final episode.

I saw a truck slip on ice on the interstate. Went off the road almost instantly and flipped and rolled harder than this accident and the driver only had an ear bleeding a little and his 5 year old son was still strapped to his chair.
It can happen.

Did y’all know Ruth listens to 90s hip hop?

And she randomly runs into Killer Mike in Chicago, who asks what she's "bumping". Yeah. The writers of these last episodes should be black balled from ever writing again.

They tried to do the fade to black like the sopranos and it didn’t work. Even if Jonah popped Mel you have to remember he’s now an fbi agent so now they have to deal with that. I was hoping one of the byrde’s would have to die to save their kids or their would be some kind of reckoning moment where (hopefully Wendy) would have to pay for all the pain they’ve caused. Not terrible not great. I think it’s a good series but wouldn’t put it in my top 5

The more I think about these past few episodes the more I dislike them

Like Killer Mike totally has a show on Netflix, we should totally like, throw him into an episode of Ozark just because! frick this show.

what a terrible ending to a show. that ending was really no different than any of the previous seasons. It resolved nothing and still leaves a cliffhanger of shite for them to deal with and feels like there needs to be another season now.
and i still have no idea why the hitman was going after Ruth when Rachel killed him. That made no sense. You're going after her b/c she won't launder the money? how's killing her going to solve that?
I thought after Marty kicked the guys arse in the street, and played pretend Cartel leader that he would eventually just say frick it i'm just going to take over the cartel. A great ending would have been him earning the trust of the lieutenants, setting up Omar and his sister to be offed, and end the show with him airing all his shite to Wendy and shooting her himself, and thus becoming the leader of the cartel.
At worst, they could have ended it with the Byrdes helping Omar kill his sister instead of the other way around and getting him back to Mexico taking his place as the cartel leader again. At least they know they can trust Omar. You could at least feel some resolve with their situation with Omar at the helm b/c they'd feel mostly safe with him. Now the show ends and there's a crazy bitch as the leader of the cartel and there's no telling what she will do. She doesn't trust the Byrd's like Omar did. and then you have them killing a police officer. If the point of the ending was to show they'd just keep on keeping on and never die and never get out of their situation, then ok, but that sucks. Something has to give. You can't keep running the life they are and not get caught.

The car accident was the perfect scenario to have this happen.
As for the ending, I kinda feel like it ended in typical Ozark fashion. I don't care about the fade to black, but I think the PI was always gonna get it. With Ruth out of the Casino picture, and the FBI behind her, Rachael will run the show there. And the Byrds will go to Chicago. Done deal.

I liked Mel. Of course he had to choose doing the right thing over fricking off to the Chicago PD, which meant he was definitely going to be murdered.
My favorite episode of the last half of the last season was when Ruth went to Chicago and killed Javi.

Has anyone been out to the interwebs to see what the general public thinks of the ending?
In general, the "normies" or the "great unwashed" as I call them, are kinda dumb and settle for dumb, cookie cutter endings. Just wondering how they are reacting to this one.
