Billy’s Boudin is overrated

I believe it’s properly rated. Overhyped maybe, but it’s damn good boudin

This is the main issue. If it didn’t take half an hour to get it would be better.

My personal favorite growing up was Veillon’s on 44. Put that on the grill and c’est bon!

You sir, are incorrect! Billy’s has the best boudin in South Louisiana, hands down! The meat to rice ratio, the texture, the spices, etc., everything blends together so well. And the boudin balls…the outside is like fried chicken skin and the insides are just pure goodness.

I don’t get cracklins often, but am never disappointed when I do get them.

I know the lines at Billy’s can be long, but it’s worth the wait. Also, don’t you think there’s a reason why there are usually long lines at Billy’s? Because they’re the best.

Billy’s smoked boudin is the greatest boudin on earth.

Now I can’t speak for the non smoker because the smoked is just so good I never get anything else.

I prefer Kartchners and some of that is bc I like shopping in Kartchners better. Seems like they also have a bigger selection of the specialties.

Billy's is delicious and if you don't think it's worth the wait, good. I don't need anyone with poor taste standing in line clogging it up further.

I’ve had them all and Billy’s is my favorite. Give me some smoked boudin and chicken crackilin from Billy’s and I’m a happy man.
