Also, try to use your bedroom for only two things: Sleep and Sex. Using it for anything else confuses your brain and body when it comes time to wind down.

I had a somewhat joke post earlier, but in all truthfulness, this is what helped me the most, I believe. That and exercise.

Yes.

I take a pill, if I don't take it I stay up days at a time then crash. When 4am rolls around and I am still awake usually I remember I forgot to take the pill. Its an anxiety med but the traditional sleeping meds just didn't work.

Unisom - The one with Doxylamine Succinate

This is the only thing that works for me. Anything with Benadryl and I sleep for a few hours, wake up, and can’t get back to sleep.

Magnesium is more easily absorbed on an empty stomach.

How old are you? It's definitely something that sets in when you start to get older. I eat 10mg of THC and sleep well now.

I'm 42 and never had trouble falling asleep. My wife claims I'm out as soon as my head hits the pillow. It's mostly true.

I’ve always had trouble falling asleep and staying asleep. I’ve taken ambien, Benadryl, melatonin, and cbd. Best thing I’ve tried so far is a supplement called “OM mushroom superfood sleep capsules.”
I found it at Whole Foods initially and now buy it from Amazon. It’s been a game changer for me

I take 10mg of melatonin before bed and think it helps. Dr. Says to take between 6mg and 10mg.

Also take magnesium for leg/feet cramp issues.

Melatonin helps. I’ve fought insomnia for about 20 years now. Sometimes I win but usually I just stay up

As my many many late night/early morning posts show

I don't drink caffeine daily even, that isn't always a problem for people.

Likewise. I take one every night. Sleep like a baby.

A co-worker of mine was complaining he didn't sleep well the night before. He drinks 10+ cups of coffee per day and when I left at 5pm, he was making another pot.

There's your problem, bud.
