It's still on the shelf in Alexandria/Pineville.
Of course, the irony is, because of this thread, I will pick up a 5th or handle when I didn't intend to causing it to be harder to find.

Let’s keep it that way.

Makers is getting close. Haven’t seen 1.75L in a while. I heard before Christmas that it was going to be nuts. Apparently, the bottles come from China, or at least that’s what I was told

Still readily available around here. If OGD114 starts to disappear then we got problems.

BT is good but holy hell

Glass bottles are a real problem. I tried to order 100 of each Handy & Schiller old fashioned and Manhattan for a project and had to switch to high west because the OF was out of stock and none on order because of glass issues. Also tobacco (and other brands) have discontinued items due to glass or ingredient issues.

As long as Elijah Craig doesn’t get hard to find, I’ll be OK.

Baby Saz is $39-$45 in Nashville. I sent my buddies a pic of the Zuppardo's pick for $19 when I was back home and they couldn't believe it. I should have walked out with a bunch to stock up on.

What's the going rate for regular Blantons now? I'm long out of the bourbon game and an acquaintance gave me a bottle when he passed through town a month ago.
Just trying to figure out my level of debt to this guy

Do you think they are moving Buffalo Trace to an allocated bourbon?
Been allocated for months in Alabama. I don't remember the last time I saw it on a shelf.

I've been told glass bottle production issues are part of the supply chain problem. Regular old white label Jim Beam handles are in plastic bottles now at Total Wine, but still in glass at Albertson's.
But to spinoff........I haven't been able to find Woodford Reserve at either location for the last 3 weeks.....what's up with that?

Most common spirits have been out of stock at the distributors. I’m sure the increased holidays sales didn’t help the supply issue.
I was told foreign stuff has issues getting unloaded at the ports and domestic stuff uses a lot of glass from overseas, which is held up in the ports…

here’s a Taliban Citgo around here that keeps it on a back shelf that nobody can see. As far as I can tell I’m the only one that knows it’s there because their supply is always just like I left it.
Same. I have a Kurdish liquor store by my work that is mostly used by bums buying pints of grain alcohol. BT is always stocked there, but hard to find at any other store. It's a few bucks more there, but always in stock.
It's popular because it's a good bourbon at very affordable prices - at least that's why I like it.

$75 when I can find it. When I do see it I buy a bottle because it's one that friends love enjoying when they see it on the shelf.

The biggest victim of the glass shortage have been the half pint sizes, not the full size bottles

It's no longer at the Costco in NOLA. At least I haven't seen it there is like 4+ months.

I haven't had any problems finding it in CENLA.

Part of it is Buffalo Trace has gotten so popular it’s getting up there with Pappy in demand.
I know last year they had to scrap their George T. Stagg due to the barrels not living up to the standard.
For what it’s worth, we stand in line for that shite here in Kentucky too.
This LEO article from here in Louisville gets into why we’re seeing shortages of more than just BT. It’s largely a demand issue.
