So the roomers will be confirmed in E Rat? Cool.

I feel terribly deprived. I would sue my parents, but that's not possible.

Network was probably the best 'serious' film of that group, and is still worth watching, IMO.

Agree 100%. It holds up very well. It accurately predicted the rise of “reality” TV and heavily slanted news programs.

Go watch Seinfeld. Puddy can explain it.
I for one am happy to have Mike Sr. back on the air. This will replace the current revolving door of radio hosts, that have taken the place of what was the Clinton Yates (or Clinton & Friends) experiment that I never quite liked.

The old Mike & Mike show was very good. Kinda sad to see the way it ended.

Actually I think the decline began as soon as the Jesuits sold it.
Fun course and reasonably priced. Usually in good shape. Note for those who haven't played there since late last year - the 9's have been flipped. #1 is now south of Lapalco, while #18 ends at the clubhouse.

And the clubhouse was redone after Ida. Nice lunch location.
US Open was there in 41. Winning score was like 4 over.
Local news says he has died from his gunshot wounds.
Identified as 30-year-old Kody Woodson of Westwego
She’s gonna need a clean pair of drawers after that

Yep. Opening Tuesday.

Can confirm - opened today - Tuesday 5/19. Hitting allowed from mats only. Grass closed until further notice.

New putting green and chipping area closed and still being watered, but looked good from my vantage point.

On the other hand, they had some janky old range balls in the machine.
Was told yesterday that the new short game practice area may not open until late June or July.
The south course is hosting an AJGA tournament May 25-29.
I expect the range to be open by then if only for the participants.

Now halfway through the season. There are some interesting characters so far. Zach Galafankus is very entertaining. The references to Big Tim at Cupertino is in every episode. I really feel bad for the kids.
No need to if she already has breast cannons.

Pinewood in Slidell.

Thanks for reminding me. I played there about 5 months ago and it was so bad I forgot about it. I’ve been there several times over the past 5 years and the greens have always sucked. But hey it’s cheap!

Played it about 3 months ago. Greens were spotty and most fairways were hard pan. And the cart path might be bumpier than any unrepaired street in Lakeview or Uptown.

The place needs 3 changes: larger greens on the front 9, grass on the back 9 fairways and new cart paths.

It is an interesting piece of property
