It should be 9-0 but will probably be 6-3 or 5-4

Not celebrating until I see a link.

Also not celebrating cause this shite never should have made it this far. It should have been nuked before the ink dried on the order.

As many predicted, OSHA rule blocked, federal mandate for federally-funded HC facilities upheld.

No surprise if accurately reported. There’s a significant difference between private employer mandates and a federal mandate under OSHA.

The Biden administration argued before the high court Friday that the rules were necessary to address the “grave danger” posed by the Covid pandemic.

I wonder if all of these woke large companies will reverse their rules now?

I work for one of them, so I'm very interested to see. I hope they do, but have little faith.

If the administration was that concerned they wouldn’t be letting illegals in
Why does it apply to healthcare that’s federally funded but not Medicare recipients?

Definitely how most of us thought it would go. OSHA Mandate blocked, Health Care Worker mandate not blocked because of Medicare/Medicaid.

I'd really like to see the split (I assume 6-3...maybe Roberts joining the Libs at 5-4).

And read any decision.

The court ruled 6-3 to block the vaccine-or-test mandate, ruling it believes the Secretary of Labor “lacked authority to impose the mandate” and it should have been left up to Congress to decide.

The Supreme Court itself requires all attorneys to test negative for Covid-19 before they appear before it, and all nine justices are fully vaccinated and boosted. Two of the lawyers who argued against the mandates, Ohio Solicitor General Benjamin Flower and Louisiana Solicitor General Liz Murrill, participated remotely in Friday’s oral arguments because they tested positive for Covid-19.
