Good. We are winning, which is why while I’ve reached my breaking point, I think this country can still be salvaged and saved without violence. 2022 we take back Congress, 2024 we take back the Presidency, and between 2023 and 2025 we put Fauci, Daszak, Blinken, Miley, Garland, Weingarten, and Cuomo on trial and give them the appropriate sentence once convicted for ruining this country and world and the mass child abuse. They have to pay for what they’ve done to this country.

You know none of that will happen right

November will be a bloodbath, then we'll do very little, and then the cycle will repeat.

And the problem isn't politicians, the problem is the 100m+ Americans who will fluctuate between liberty and authoritarianism depending on how a pitch makes them feel. Times suck, which is why nobody has patience for lectures about imaginary voting suppression. Yet when the pendulum swings and times are good, suddenly the idiots who live among us will go "hey my 401k is doing good, you know what, we really should start stifling the productive classes and talking about BLM again."

Kagen will occasionally dissent. i actually like reading her opinions when she dissents. she's similar to RBG, i rarely agree with her, but has a sharp mind.

Breyer is just a gaping vag and Sotomayor is a high functioning special person.

Damn I hope you are correct

Hope I'm not too optimistic, but when the CDC and media are suddenly going "you know what, we really need to get the truth out about COVID hospitalizations" and hitting the Sunday morning circuit to downplay the numbers, the tide is turning.

Granted, it's no mea culpa. Rather, it's turning because they're terrified that JB has a 33% approval rating, but turning nonetheless.

I agree Democrats are awful animals and belong in concentration camps, but this isn't the thread for name calling and threats. Happy for the ruling.

There was no way for them to achieve this. There aren’t enough tests available for people sick with covid, much less people who are fine and healthy who have to just take one to go to work.

Regardless of this particular case, the idea of setting precedent that OSHA can be used in such a way is horrifying. Glad court came to the right outcome- this was an absurd overreach, idgaf if this is about vax or not

I wonder if all of these work large companies will reverse their rules now?

They have the freedom to do what they want. Which was the point.

Your employer may or may not decide to issue a mandate for the vaccine. It’s their job to know how that will impact staffing. They are free to make a right or wrong choice either way now.

Roberts and Kavanaugh are both Bush guys who were on the DC Circuit before the Supreme Court. That is the resume of a consummate statist.

Wouldn't matter either way. Ochsner will require it for employees themselves, which has nothing to do with this ruling

Heard someone mention the other day that the next step/talking point in turning the tide our way is to get this to be recognized as an endemic vs the scary pandemic nomenclature.
Not sure how that all comes into play, but just what someone on an industry call mention.

6-3 is still frightening to me
Why? The libs were ALWAYS going to vote that way. Any politically charged case they never change and never waiver and always vote lockstep.

It’s frightening because it’s a constant reminder that you have 3 justices that will constantly rule down party lines instead of based on law and the constitution. I may not agree with the other 6, but they at least will rule based on their interpretation of the law/constitution instead of just going along w the party lines
