Any recommendations for a good pair of saltwater fishing pliers? $100-$150 range.

Don’t spend that much.
Danco pliers for $30.

absolutely wouldn't spend that much on pliers for my boat. I have a mix of $3 pliers around the boat and it never seems to be that I have a pair handy.

I have a pair of Abel pliers that I bought 20-25 years ago. They still look and function like they’re brand new and have been used a lot over those years in both fresh and salt water
ETA: If I remember right they were about $150 at the time.

Pick up two cheap pairs of stainless ones from Academy. They will do everything you need them to do.

If you’re a Sitka wearing guy, Van Staals. But any will do the job.

The saltwater plier threads crack me up. Please don't spend that much on a pair of pliers.

If you want to spend more than $30, then go all in and buy van staal titanium pliers.
I’d just buy a $30 pair of cheap danco’s every 2-3 years though. They last pretty good and I’m not scared to lose them.

I'd argue it's worth it to spend more on a pair that won't rust easily in saltwater. I can keep a pair of pliers and not lose them. Nothing pisses me off more than rusted up pliers when you need them. I wade fish a lot with hard plastic plugs and you don't want to be picking treble hooks out with your hands while grabbing a flopping trout, red, catfish, etc...
