. I vividly remember being scared shitless when I was in your shoes. I thought there was no way in hell I was ready to raise a child. But here I am 9 years later with a daughter and a son and both are great kids who have brought me more moments of awe and joy than I ever could've imagined.
The love for your children is a different love that one can only understand once you've experienced it.

Best thing in the world. People will give you all sorts of advice. (like im doing now haha) take it all with a grain of salt. Not that those people are always wrong or have bad intentions but you just gotta do what works for you, your wife, and your little one. All babies/families are different.
Nothing is set in stone. There is no one way to do anything. Just enjoy it. I have my third boy due in March, seems like we finally know what to expect....which means this one will run us for another loop im sure haha.

Best thing that ever happened to me in my life, it's been a joy raising my son.
Mine started playing sports at 5 and is still going at 15 so ten years of baseball fields, basketball and football games

Don't buy a shite ton of cutsie newborn onesies.
You will get a lot of them from grandparents, coworkers, baby shower, etc. People love to buy novelty onesies for a newborn. Ours wore maybe 10% of the stock before they were too big for them.
Chances are they baby will grow out of them in a couple weeks anyway.

Lol, I was in the same boat as you. Married in November 2019, found out we were expecting March 2020. You'll be fine man. Nothing beats coming home and holding the little one. Just celebrated her 1st birthday on the 5th.

It's not that hard. Kids are pretty frickin stupid. You have to learn a few things when they're infants and toddlers. But after that, it's teaching them really basic shite to help them not die or cost you a lot of money(by not brushing teeth).
