There are no exciting candidates out there.

When are there? The rant would’ve been thrilled with exciting Tom Herman and Lincoln Riley last 2 cycles. Based on their results it likely would not have turned out well.

Is Urban your melt candidate?

Word on the street is he is looking to coach again. Interviewed at PSU.

SFP and I are on the same page on this one. CUM would be an unmitigated disaster at LSU.

I'd also melt if we hired Matt Patricia (an angrier Mike Archer) or did something really stupid like Jon Gruden.

Realistically it’s Franklin. I’ve actually heard/ read about him being a candidate for the job, thought I’m not sure if it’s for real

Yeah he’s basically a younger BK. Do not want

One of these is not like the others IMO. I think Campbell is a dang good coach.

Agreed. I doubt he's a great fit for ya'll but he's a very high quality coach.

What do all these candidates have in common? I agree none should be the coach, but why are these your top 3 melt candidates.

Well after 3 pages of this there’s not a HC we can hire .I think so far every coach out there has been named so we are Fd.

Kliff Kingsberry, Lincoln Riley or Dan Mullen. Any of those three and I'm out until they are canned.

CUM, Jimbo, Mullens, and Franklin are all perfectly acceptable melt candidates. But the one that you light pitchforks for and storm the AD’s office is:

Matt Patricia. 13-29 record as HC of the Detroit Lions. Talk about failing upwards.
