Come on guys
2 things:
1. The information Chicken provided pretty much matches Moscona's report from this morning. So, it's double-sourced.
2. Chicken is not going to just put out random garbage to drive clicks. He wants to make the board more serious and less silly, not a larger source of drivel.

I think all the rational thinking folks figured this was the most likely possibility other than LSU. Florida was very unlikely, IMO, and the NFL was a long shot at best. It was always LSU or Ole Miss. I do wonder if he has poisoned the well a bit with some of the Ole Miss faithful.

I could easily see this happening as well. I've stated before that he's the LSU coach when the contract is signed and he's waiting to be announced as such. I won't be disappointed if he decides to return to Ole Miss nor overly excited if he chooses to come to LSU.

I’m no lawyer but I assume MOUs have different nuances but how can anyone believe anyone signed anything unless you were there.

Just so I’m clear you believe that someone who runs a football fan board that is currently in the middle of the biggest story of the year received info relevant to that story and decided to just disregard it? Then the morning of a big event in this search he suddenly either remembered the email or decided it wasn’t something to disregard?

He can disregard it on Wednesday because then it seemed like an outlier of information that didn't match what other reliable sources were saying.
36 hours later, the e-mail does match what others are saying, which caused Chicken to reconsider and post it.
Not that hard to figure out.

So my guess at this point is Lane tells his team in the locker room before they hit this field today. They get fired the frick up and go on a tear.
