He’s not interviewing for any job right before week 17 and the playoffs start.

I thought it was a "Done Deal" that Lombardi was going to be hired last year, then all of a sudden Brady was announced.

I think you're a year off. Lombardi was last year, and then Linehan.

Is Orgeron that simpleminded? Just because one Saints hire worked out great he thinks he can only hire Saints coaches?

Dude this is 100% clickbait.

Joe's a great guy and talent eval. (No clue about the play calling, but he's gotta be good enough to get his QBs ready.)

Lombardi is O’s personal favorite at the moment, but not rushing the hire and checking all the boxes

I'm not sure how much credit to give someone for being Drew Brees' QB coach, but I'd take him over Harrell.

I can’t really buy this, why would you fire Linehan to bring in Lombardi ?

Gotta think he’s learned something from Payton and Brees all this time.

Trading one failed NFL OC for another. FFS Ed.

Because O thinks he's the next Brady.

He was a total disaster when he left the Payton/Brees nest before as an OC. But maybe he really turned up the learning in his second stint with Payton

Joe Lombardi is probably perfectly suited as the Saints QB coach

Ah well, he has an uncanny resemblance to his grandfather while standing on the sideline.

He’s got that going for him at least.
