Being close isn’t the same thing as closing the deal. It’s like being in the Red Zone, you don’t get point for almost scoring a TD. Toviano and Harbor are both within grasp, but neither is in hand as of yet. A&M is still very much a threat for Toviano despite all the optimism

Jesus Christ where to even start… I obviously can’t tell all the stories, but the biggest one was during all the BLM stuff… he convinced O to shut down all the team march through campus and basically tell the players they were being selfish and they were there to play football not to have little parades together. It was truly the craziest/dumbest thing I’d ever heard. And it was really the boiling point for the dysfunction within the program and the players falling out with O.

What’s funny about that, is that was told to me by Derek Ponamsky directly… man do I not miss that MF AT ALL. If people knew half the lies that snake made up to try to sell himself and “protect the program”, their heads would explode. My biggest issue was I was naive enough at the time to actually believe him. In hindsight I never should have given him the time of day, but hey it’s over and done with now.

I think Tackett is more college ready, but Weeks has a ton of upside. I think both will have excellent careers. Hate we can’t land Tack, but some bridges aren’t rebuilt overnight.

No connected at all anymore. Used to help out quite a bit with the Grid Iron club though, but that’s a thing of the past. I still know a few people inside admin, but as far as staff and recruiting goes I really don’t have anyone there. Hoping to get more involved with the Oaks Society and possibly a few other ventures that TAF is putting together, but mostly I’m just a fan like everyone else. I apologize if I upset you in some way in the past, but going forward I’m just here to be a fan like everyone else. Geaux Tigers

To be fair I have no clue what you do and don’t know man. Just had some things told to me and I decided to share it. If it’s all already well known then that’s awesome, if I was able to pass something new along then even better. Either way, Geaux Tigers and I can’t wait for the season to start.

We’ve had several commits in the last couple weeks. Most will be announcing this month. Staff is on an absolute roll! Sampson should be the first big one announcing on Saturday to get the party started. Rickie Collins, DJ Chester, Zalance Heard, Kylin Jackson all will announce on their own time, but they’re in the boat, too.
Toviano and Harbor are both very close but haven’t quite pulled the trigger yet. Gun to my head I say we get Toviano but not sure on Harbor at the moment.
