Our fanbase will riot if it’s Traylor at this point. The message board story has been written

I don't want to go all Colorado but that guy should be seen as the enemy to me, like why was he even considered. There is not a single guy I hate worse for his role as a NOT head coach than Traylor.

For all the weird stuff us Aggies do I wish we had a list of assistant coaches (call it The Brent Venables List) who are disqualified for the way they negatively recruited us in the past.

I'm rooting for Oregon to beat DeBoer so that we can quickly see if his interest is genuine or not

DeBoer got a raise and extension last year to $4.25M/yr. He's barely at average pay for the PAC 12. You'd think he is going to get another bump this year to fend off the wolves.

The parallels with Fisch and our job are wild.

Authored the UCLA comeback with Rosen that effectively ended Sumlin’s tenure, paving the way for Jimbo and Sumlin taking the Arizona job. Took over Sumlin’s mess at Arizona a few years later, building it back up. Now apparently a candidate for our job after firing Jimbo

College football is a small world. He’s not my top choice but it’s easy to see him putting together a good staff and having success at a bigger program. I’d ideally like to see him sustain it at Arizona for a few years

He went to UF. That is a job he might be waiting for if Napier gets fired this year or next year.

Is AM going big again, after dropping 77M? Seems they try to get a quality coach with potential on the cheap (by their standards anyway)

Day will be at OSU for a long time.
DeBoer will be at Washington for another 5 or 6 years.

TAMU will be lucky to name a big named head coach for the foreseeable future. There's no reason A&M should be as mediocre as it has given the talent level it has had with Sumlin and Fisher. There are other problems with TAMU besides coaching

Sounds like Bjork wants them to get the big money for winning not upfront. I’ll try to find the quote.

No. They’ll be paying about 6 million base and it’s gonna be an incentive heavy deal

Bjork is being held on a short leash with his hire. He got played in giving the Jimbo extension and he won’t have that type of freedom again.

They don’t want to hear it but you’re right. There are problems within

The reasonable Aggies know it and aren’t optimistic that things will change

Not an insider just know a lot of Aggies and I know the idiots on this forum don’t represent most of them

Most of them don’t care for Bjork and know he screwed up. They also know that he’s not getting the autonomy he had previously bc he’s put them in a bad position here.

But yea they’ve got all the money in the world and simply choose not to spend it. That makes a lot more sense. Endowment doesn’t equal football budget but a lot of y’all don’t understand that lol
