DeBoer got a raise and extension last year to $4.25M/yr. He's barely at average pay for the PAC 12. You'd think he is going to get another bump this year to fend off the wolves.

That’s a PAC 12 salary. They are Big 10 now and maybe about to make the playoffs. He may choose to leave, but it won’t be about money. UW can now afford to pay as much as anyone (or close enough)

You’re not wrong.

But there’s a 0.0% chance DeBoer or Day would take the A&M job. And a marginally higher chance with Fisch. But Aggie fans can keep popping off silly takes

UW is currently working on an extension and raise for DeBoer. Nothing has been announced yet though.

lol. You think there’s only a slight chance he would leave Arizona for A&M?

Think we could get Kinne to leave Texas State?

If Fisch wants the Florida job, it will almost 100 percent be open next year. Florida has a tough schedule next year.

Is he better than Dan Campbell, Mike Tomlin, or Bill Belichek ? Bc you’re getting one of those 3

He makes 2.6 million a year. University of Arizona is currently in financial crisis and trying desperately to trim athletic department expenses. He is as good as gone when a bigger school comes calling and wants him. Your opinion is not based in reality

I think most people believe Day's agent is just trying to work an extension

But Day just got an extension in 2022 and is making 9.5 M per.

I think if Day is in play, it's because Ohio St wants a change and is sick of losing to Michigan. This year would be 3x in a row and possibly 3 beatdowns in a row. And this would be an opportunity to avoid having to buy him out. This would be their loophole to get out of the money owed and possibly even get a little from A&M ($5M) in the deal.

That should be the sub-title to this forum.

Can't beat Michigan so come running to the SEC. That would be interesting!

That is the theory from Passwaters. I think he is full of shite. I don't care how bad you hate losing to your rival, going 55-7 (11 to 12 wins per year) is not someone you let leave and you especially don't ask them to look around.
