I've been rowing the boat for years. I'm sure you can find some of my posts on this board from back in 2015/2016

SEC opponents want LSU to hire one of the best coaches out there?

There have been some horribly stupid comments in here I just want to point out a few things.
-Fleck has gotten better every season for the last 8 years except for this year.
-Last year Fleck went 11-2 at Minnesota and beat Auburn in the bowl game. An Auburn team that was our toughest challenge last year.
-This year, his school/team was the biggest proponet of skipping the season out of the Big Ten. I know that is not something that we like down here, but I do think it should be considered when looking at their record this year. While Wisconsin, Nebraska, Ohio State, etc. were fighting to play and prepping for the season, Minnesota was off.
Personally, I think that Fleck is the type of personality our team can stand to learn from at this point. He delivers a selfless team first message "Row the boat" that could really be used for our culture which has, due to our success and NFLSU status. led players to opt out after three seasons only to be drafted in the 3rd round or later. Or most recently opting out after 2 years. Meanwhile, players that have been just as successful at other programs, i.e. Alabama seem to stay 4 years more often.

I'm not claiming he is. I'm saying that literally no coach you hire is going to have a great season every year of their career. And this covid season is just tough. If there wasn't deeper stuff going on at LSU or if Ed had had previous success elsewhere, it wouldn't be held against him either.
Fleck has taken two mediocre/shite programs and gotten them to double digit wins within 4 years.
He had 11 wins at Minnesota. 11 wins. At Minnesota
The last time they had 11 wins was 2007. Before that? 1904.
They had 10 wins in 1983, but the next double digit wins was again 1904.
He got Western Michigan to 13 wins. They have been playing football since 1962 and that is the only time in their school's HISTORY that they have had double digit wins.

Was rowing the boat when we hired O, I could start rowing it again.

He would be fantastic here. Was like 11-2 last year with 2 and 3 stars. Definitely wouldn't have all this disorganization and moronic in game decisions.

2-3 head coach this year at Minnesota is just what we need...

If he gets fired, its because of Title IX and the program is in total disarray, so his record is irrelevant.
Was also 10-25 at Ole Miss and has made the same mistakes again and again and again.

I couldn't believe we didn't at least give him an interview in 2016. But then again there was a lot I couldn't believe about that shite show Alleva put together.
