Was wondering about this earlier today cause this would wreck his daughters senior year. Even if she stayed in Oxford to finish it would be miserable. It’s Mississippi we can go from hospitality to hostility in the blink of an eye.

That means exactly nothing. It's what Kiffin does on Twitter.
All he did was deny he was stepping down to accept the Auburn job on Friday and that the reporter had bad sources. If it's announced Sunday after the Iron Bowl (which would most likely be the case if this is happening to not shite on Cadillac) then Lane can say he didn't lie, and the reporter can say he was still right, he just had the timing wrong.

It would have been exceedingly easy for him to end speculation right then and there. But he didn’t.
I still have my doubts that he pulls the trigger. But that was about as weak a denial as he could have made.
