Well I think you can make Corey Co-DC with a focus on Pass Coverage Installation. Arnett can be Co-DC with Run game, pass rush and blitz installation and caller on game day.
Give Corey a good raise and have him work under Arnett and at if Arnett gets a HC gig in a few years, Corey can move up. I don't believe the Mallory/Peveto 2008 situation should impact LSU having a CO-DC.
Kirby at UGA as CO-DC's and that has worked well there. Harsin the New Auburn Coach used CO-DC's at Boise State and won well there, he is bringing both those guys with him to Auburn to work under Mason who has the Solo DC role.

What is making at State? Money might make him reconsider but since he is now a Solo DC, you are probably correct. CO-DC's are usually when you have two young up and comers like UGA does and you give them different installation areas and responsibility as CO-DC similar to Kirby at UGA with his 2 young CO-DC's.

He would just stay where he was unless the money difference was outrageous. Even then I think he wouldn't do it as it would be a potentially bad career move.
